Yes - LOTS!!! They lower the root sounds of their voices over years of practice, and learn how to manipulate overtones to produce the very high, clear notes which i unfortunately cannot hear via my crummy sound system. It is a fine art, and requires intense concentration to do well - because of this, it is an aid to, and is indeed aided by meditation skills, which also require laser-like focus.
