I recently read that this bloke misappropriated money for a benefit concert and has a shady background...perfect candidate for Haitian president...he's got my vote.
This guy sounds so not right for president. It really looks like he is told things to say, and there's a huge corporation behind his running for president. I really hope Haiti sees beyond this opportunist. He pocketed the money from his "charity" to help Haiti, and he's really not minding the attention he is getting either for his artist status, or really to fuck up a whole country.
Wait a munite, this is the same Wyclef that said "the white man has never done shit for you" to a group of black high school marching band students in the Dave Chappelle block party dvd? Im sure he's really concerned about all of the issues plaquing all of the "Lower class" when he's driving around in his Pagani Zonda wearing fur coats. What a lump of shit this guy is!
Upper class blacks aren't *really* making it. When we own some real land and own some real multinational corporations, then I'll agree that they're "making it". Now upper middle-class blacks are really just faking it, aping the white middle class in style and income but without the substance of wealth and assets and without really haven taken the reigns of capitalism...
have you seen dion sanders' house?! or mike jordan's clothing line?! they seem to be making it to me. what about death row records?! sure they don't make planes or cars but they are "multinational" and make millions if not hundreds of millions. how much success will they need before they meet your qualification for "made it"?
Go read something. blackcommentator(dotcom), Black Wealth White Wealth. Elise Cose. If you compare those black millionaires with their class level, you'll see even they aren't making it making it. They aren't the Johnson family. And name one black billionaire you know who doesn't work in entertainment? First off, there's only Oprah, secondly, these multi-millionaires do not have assets like their white intergenerational cohorts.
how can a millionaire not be making it? those folks can own some real land if they spend some money on. what about sports in america? 95% black, all of whom are mutli-millionaires. if they want to own land they can buy it. if you think they aren't doing the right things with their money, become a multi-millionaire yourself, and show them how it's done. i really can't see where you're comming from here.
.....speaking of death row records..70 percent of hip-hop is bought by white kids...racism is clearly not what it once was. blacks need to get over the race issue... especially because America is about to elect a black president.
The mistake alot of people make are the sub groups masons etc they are the one's who get on! Not all white people have opportunity either thats the mistake people make the questioning of how people are treated is distracted and so confused and so certain groups carry on progressing while other people are told they are genetically inferior. It's not true and it's not true that we all have the same opportunity's we don't although things are better than they were!
