I was there that night and asked him about nuclear power and started him on a rant about that.
Then, a little later, I requested that he play Here Comes Those Tears Again. He said he was working on it and wasn't ready to play it. I said, we'll take whatever you got. He smiled at me and he was a little sheepish, and explained it wasn't quite ready...I said come on...and he played it. I loved it. It helps to be in the second row. I've met him several times, and he is as nice as can be!
this vid is SO GREAT, it's rare to catch Jackson cutting up and it's great os see, i have seen him do it a few times, but usually serene and so serious, it's great to see this side of him, a true jackson fan for life, the man is amazing thanks again***************
Excellent, perfect video of not only the most talented songwriter of the century but showing his charm, quick wit and genuiue love when performing!! LOVE YOU JACKSON AND THANK YOU "PASTPEST" FOR POSTING THIS!
I said that to him and wrote it in a note and felt really silly afterward, but he's a great guy and his music has given me solace for over a quarter of a century.
I was among those extremely fortunate folks who were there at the Brown on March 7th, and I can say that it was easily one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen. Very informal (as you can tell), but in the best possible way. A guy in front of me cried during this song, and I nearly lost it myself during 'Late For The Sky'. Sadly, he didn't sing 'For A Dancer', but that would've brought the tears for sure. Just a beautiful, perfect night all around. The guy works magic with those songs.
For the second time I'd seen JB in 30+ years it was a most wonderful evening for me as well. He had me crying a few times too, no one can do any song as he. I am glad to hear from someone who was there also. I loved the snow, as did my friends from out west..It sure added to the magical theme of the weekend!! He is just indescribable.!! You are so right..magic..
No matter the seats there is no way one could be dissapointed with the encore performance of this magnificient singer songwriter. No way any disappointment could linger
Thanks so much to whoever took this video, I traveled from evansville, and had two friends one from L.A. and one from Houston to meet me there, the show they loved, and the snow they liked alot too. He has never been better totally awesome, better than in 75 the other time I had been to hear him...he was really into the sold out group there, and the brown was a great venue for this concert. Long Live Jackson Browne! We Love Your Music....thank you man....
Glad everyone enjoys! I've had fun looking back through the years of Jackson Browne youtubes. Seems like he was a part of every concert I attended late 70's early 80's. He was always with Little Feat, Orleans or Alman Bros. You name it. The man knows how to strike a chord like no body else.
Oh I wish we had seats close up like that!!! But, I consider myself lucky to have seats anywhere. I'd sit out side and listen if I had to... Thanks so much for this!!!
This vid was captured March 7, 200, at Brown Theater in Louisville Ky. We received the largest snowfall in 15 years that evening so everyone was happy he didn't cancel. It was sold out. The audience dictated the song list. J B was very accommodating as this video portrays. BTW, he only struggled with the lyrics one time, and I just happen to catch it. It was a fabulous show. pastpest
So glad you like my video of Jackson. Now give yourself a real treat and buy Timothy B Schmit's new solo albumn "Expando".
It's great! My brother Hank engineered the project, which features Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Blind Boys, Grahm Nash, to name a few. Check it out!!!

As of early May he shaved it, thank goodness. To me, it didn't suit his face.
