Do you need more than one lithops to get seeds? I only have 1 single plant, if I got another would they pollinate one another? Or do they self pollinate?
Seeds should sprout in about 1 week (they need light to germinate). This plant is at least 4 years old since I planted the seed, but I don't have an exact date as I lost the label long ago.
Lovely video!! I liked hearing the spray and then the music--very cute <3 I'm so hooked to these little guys! I got one at Lowes last week :) They'd over watered it though. The soil was a little mossy and it was starting to split so I put it in 2/3 cacti sand mix to help it dry out fully. Last week I ordered 300 seeds :) Yours is stunning--very nice, bold color!!!
YES. Try a google search for "valley succulents" to find a Canadian online Nursery. Local Cactus Clubs may be able to help, a search for "cactus society canada" will help you find one near you.
Fantastic. Can't think why fruit never came into my mind. You have germinated an ambition in me now ... ;) Many thanx!

Most are NOT self-fertile, so you will need two individuals in order to get seed.
