I've played acoustic guitar for many moons, but somehow had not heard of you (my loss for sure.) Found you on the Pickup The World website. Imagination, ease (but certainly not EASY) and musicality. I always wanted to ask you Jaquie, I know your using some alternitive tunings but I don't know what.

Is it like DADGAD, DADFAD, DADGBD, FGDGBE, or DGDGBD or some other tuning I'm not aware of??

I tend to try and play in all kinds of different tunnings.

I'm realy getting into old traditional guitarist like Pasquale Taraffo, Django Rinhart, T-bone walker, Jelly Roll Morton, Thalonos Monk, I know there not, stuff like this is cool and I find a welcome side to the crap they turn out today!

I hope you put all your songs on here. I remember the first album that I got of you, there was a song on there I realy loved. I don't remember the name though and the tape is still in the USA. I loved every song on that album!

The coolist thing was the cover picture of your Taylor cut away guitar. Do you still play them? It looks like the guitar in these video's isn't the one I used to see you with in Trinidad.

I really like these songs! You've got that ability to just "sit in the pocket" on these tunes - you never let the speed get away from you. I'm glad to be the first person to say "thank you" for posting these! (It gives me yet another reason to get off my computer and lock myself in a dark room with my guitar for, oh... say twenty years or so?) Take care!
