I think that EA made a good job trying to keep the old C&C formula: Generals, C&C 3 and RA3 all were fast paced, non stop action pretty much like the good old C&Cs from Westwood, so I don't get why the hate.

I think people hate those games just because of the EA logo and not because the game itself.

One thing is true, though: they fucked it up with C&C 4.

For me, Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 characters were the most memorable people in C&C story. These are also the best games in the franchise, I love this engine. They should have kept upgrading this engine instead of going full 3D, RA3 isn't as fun as RA2YR. I wonder what would the Empire of Rising Sun base look like in 2D.

Besides the sheer unrelatedness of "conflicts" and aggressive comments addressing EA's obvious lack of respect towards game's roots and content, I'd like to say that this soundtrack provides notable heaviness, which should be appreciated even by those, who haven't played this game, yet. Perhaps this sounds cliche, but such soundtracks such as these really can build up the atmosphere of gaming environment and set the tone for the game and it certainly creates some memories of it.
