this song is so much better than Brass Monkey! Its way more funky.

To me, this feels more like a dancefloor song. But its just too bad that Brass Monkey is favored more for them, all because it is more popular.

My influence on code for dance music is more about the sound, than it is about song popularity, since my early days of listening to a dance music radio station convinced me with a message that others just wouldn't get. Its a long story, but the hell, I don't like dancefloors anymore.

@SamuraiClinton I don't think it's just popularity. The issue with this track in regards to dance floor are the "Psycho" sample breaks when they get away from the bass line hook. If you don't know the song, you gravitate to the hook. If the hook is gone for 30 seconds, you lose the floor.

I used to spin "You Don't Know Me" by Kid Rock, a before-he-was-famous track. Driven by a great Doors sample, floor would be packed, until the Doors hook went away halfway thru. Then the floor would empty.
