This brings back old memories. Now Kikka is a UFA Solo artist. Sekki is with a UFA idol group Up Up Girls (temp name).

Look up "Azusa Sekine (関根梓) Sings Romantic Ukare Mode" for Sekki's latest performance of this awesome song. This time Sekki is solo with her new team mates providing backup dance.

Tsunku doesnt pick the girls to be in MM based on talent alone. He choose a girl who will be something different in MM. But when he see's a talented girl, he knows it and that's why some of the girls who auditioned for MM ends up as solo singer such as Ayaya and Mikitty(initially). I think Kikka would do well as a solo artist too. If she's in MM she'll prob get one or two or line only despite her great vocal skills since ReinaxAi is always in favor.

@lovelyslickyvixenLSV agreed, even I have some thought of cheering her for 10th Gen now hahaha~! But Ayaya wasn't the one who audition for MM, was she?? Miki auditioned for 4th Gen, but Ayaya didn't, right? She just auditioned the solo segment from what I've known.

@BTHikari Oh, sorry cause I don't know much bout Ayaya. Well, I'm rooting for her solo career. But if it doesn't work out too well, I hope Tsunku will put her in Momusu and we all know Momusu is desperately in need of strong vocals once Ai graduates.

@lovelyslickyvixenLSV totally agreed, Kikka should definitely be in Momusu, since of what you've said. and now MM is making an audition for 10th Gen, hope Tsunku will put her just like he did with Miki. I'm really a fan of Miki+Ai combination when it comes to singing :)

It was announced today that Kikka has finished her eggs training and will be performing at the opening of the H!P winter 2011 shows, there is a chance she will either go solo in H!P, form some new unit or join MM as 9th gen

H!P never wasted the talents, maybe some girls don't have solo lines in the singles, but they always have the chances to improve their perform skill on stage.

@VnaCloud : I wish there were more fans like you out there. That's why many of the girl's stay on as Eggs. It's not just vocal, they have to work on the whole package and sometimes it takes some girls a bit longer to pull off singing, dancing, interacting, and entertaining the audience all at the same time. I actually hope that Kikka gets her own group.

@VnaCloud I think they already started carving a career for Kikka but not as a full singer tho. Shes been doing more plays than other Eggs. She does sing during the plays which is a plus for her. Recently, she has become a co-host for a fashion program, PinkKiss, if I'm not mistaken.

Their voices totally matched the song (better than Mano's did); but performance wise, they still looked a bit intimidated by the stage and performing and you can see it in their eyes and facial expressions and by their robotic movements.

Yuu's got some serious talent here... She sounded A LOT like Miki from 0:09-0:29.. WOW, just WOW. I'm impressed! Azuka is good too! But Yuu stuck out the most to me! I think I found my new favorite H!P Egg!

No surprise that Kikka could pull this song off but for the younger Egg, Sekine (13), she did an amazing job. I like voice too, its clear and solid, same as Kikka. Tsunku have 2 diamonds here just waiting to be polished.

To tell the true, they are still a bit shy and not so experienced. No offense, but I think some of the eggs' singing level might already have become better than some of the current HP artists.
