Was working away in my shed today when this song came on the radio. I almost burst into tears! So beautiful, both the words and that voice. And so long since I heard it last, but still I recognized it instantly! Disco became "not cool" in the late 70's, for reasons that I've never fully understood (other than that punk was in), as disco to me meant great songs like this. Still, being a youngster I followed the crowd of course. I'm not saying that punk was bad, I'm saying some disco was good.
