Quanzhou is my hometown, a lovely city, I am now living in H.K.

I lived in Quan Zhou for quite some time and I found it to be one of the most beautiful cities in China. QZ has beautiful architecture, beautiful religious monuments, cultural diversity, and interesting history, not to mention that the people are so friendly. The positive aspects of the city overshadowed any negative ones there might have been. Sorry you are having a depression session dude.

I guess I'm more of a "glass is half-full" type of guy. I was so inspired by the diverse beauty in Quanzou that I really didn't notice the things you mentioned, except the pink houses, which I think were a perfect blend of the old architechture and the modern building materials, methods and needs.
