Studies show that as much as half of the population may have problems with grains, even whole grains. When people are having problems losing weight I usually have them cut out all suspected allergens like grains, dairy, and soy.
@mensacyclist assinine? eat what you want, but from an evolutionary standpoint, grains are an experiment. a mere blip on the screen and so we don't really know if our bodies can handle it well. we do know that grains fatten up our animals very well.
@mensacyclist - I regained my health by cutting grains (wheat, rice, brown rice). Even when I introduce organic GMO free brown rice back into my diet, I get a bloated feeling, weak ankles, skin rashes, and I can barely run or workout. I now follow nutrient dense Dr. Furhman plan and eat alot of greens, nuts, seeds, beans, avocados, fruits, mushrooms, green/red teas, and meats on the side. I am 38 and I can lift heavier weights and workout longer than when I was 17yo.

I really like this guy, I bought a couple of his books and actually did learn things, many in fact. I don't know about the bootcamp program, but his books are worth the money.
Why is he a bottom feeder because he wants to sell the book he thinks contains good information? Am I a bottom feeder for expecting to be paid at work? This guy spends a lot of time to make a case for his recommendations.
these videos are only advertising for Mr. Bowden's book! When I hear him talking I learn nothing new or something most of the people already know! His purpose is only make people buy his "famous" book which probably says nothing we alreaqdfy don't know. Losing weight is only a matter of will and equilibrium!!!
Unfortunately he forgets to say you must be rich and buy his program to learn. I agree with you georgiana. He does have a video that says our natural diet is what can be grown, gathered or hunted. So I think, and it has worked for me, natural foods, water and tea instead of soda or sugary fruit drinks, positive thinking plus moderate exercise is the key.
Who is this Jimmy Brungus anyway? I don't have to say anything, I'm a doctor too.
