  • alicia keys vibrato annoys me!

  • why would anyone do this to such a good song ?

  • Too many cooks spoil the broth... Only Neal Morse and friends in Yellow Matter Custard are qualified to make Lennon cry

  • what a fucking disaster

  • LOL This MUST be the baddest Beatles cover I have ever seen.

  • this is awful ..alicia keys!!! wtf are you thinking you are the only one in this group that had to change the rhythm get the hell off the stage

  • @briannewyork9876 hahaha its fucking awefullmate

  • Some songs just shouldn't be tried by ANYONE. These 'Stars' BUTCHERED this song. And that fucking 'Slash' retard playing a Les Paul 12 string!? Gimme a fucking break.

  • Some songs just shouldn't tried by ANYONE. These 'Stars' BUTCHERED this song. And that fucking 'Slash' retard playing a Les Paul 12 string!? Gimme a fucking break.

  • Steve Tyler Fucking Rules!!!

  • terrible

  • wtf happened to Stevie Wonder? :-(

  • wax museums are boring

  • american idiots

  • @Pategayo and bono 2

  • rubbish... just high quality rubbish..

  • Comment removed

  • viva green day bille joe, viva, bono u2

  • John Lennon's watching this in heaven, slow clapping, and saying "Utter crap."

  • super slash rules

  • Give Brian the whole solo and get these other industry whores off the fucking stage. (Steve and the harmonica can stay as well)

  • Wow.. bad.. just... bad.... harmonica solo rocked though....

  • Damn the ones who tied to make it their song. Thank you to the ones who didn't.

  • Fuck these assholes

  • Brian, you are great! The best!

  • twas good in the end {cos it stopped} ...but what a train wreck most of it was ! Who was there ? Stevie blunder , green phlegm , boner , slush ,ee aw Mcgraw ,some guy impersonating david bowie via eddie cheddar , ilostma keys , and brain wiltson...CRAP .

  • all have absoulute pitch except brian wilson´s mono hearing ears

  • Steven Tyler won this one

  • omg was that bowie?

  • Man, talk about need for some rehearsal time. That was absolutely horrible!

  • Brian Wilson genius!!!

  • there are tons of artists i like in this song, but i must say, the only who didnt slaughter it was billie joe

  • WoW !! everybody is very flat on this classic Lennon song....They all killed it...

  • billie joe great

  • They just....BLEH.

  • not an easy song.

  • The only Singer that Sounded Any Good Was Steven Tyler.

  • Nora Jones looks so cute when she sings "Jai guru Deva" awwww :3

  • When Lennon did this ditty... I just took it as light poetry that had a vaguely optimistic point of view... but after hearing these guys... WOW what a horrible thingy. The thought of Nothing Changing your world...yikes... ever! and then these guys going 'something... gonna change my world'... what are they thinking about. Any one know? Please fill me in. Mean time I getting hold of a nice sangwitch.

  • O.O...Scott sucks!!!

  • wtf? something IS gonna change my world??!! fuck that...

  • The only one up there that is worthy to cover John is Brian (I'm pretty sure John would have been honored if he did as the Beatles and Beach Boys respected each other greatly). Should have just been him, this is just really cheesey, sounds more like "We are the World"

  • Completely belting this song, completely defeats the purpose of the song and the idea it's trying to express

  • Some great talent here, but it really, really didn't do the song justice.

  • YUCK!

  • Never put so many egos on one stage, Jesus Christ.. this is terrible.

  • Fck off BONO!!!

  • By the way, John Lennon was very precise and clear when he wrote the phrase "Nothing's gonna change my world." Who on earth came up with the suggestion to replace it with what appears to be an opposite affirmation?

  • Comment removed

  • This was pretty good, but really, is that a 12 string les paul slash is playing!?

  • this was one of those ideas that should have stayed an idea. how can so many talented people do such a horrible performance?

  • billie joe was ok

  • this vid shows again that slash is a big beatles fan, he also played on ozzys cover album on in my life.

  • yeah.. really horrible. I don't get these people. Why they just don't leave john's songs alone? it's only him who would ever do that properly.

  • Ever heard of an autocue, Stevie? Alicia Keys obviously has.

  • @tpmableful - how would Stevie see it?

  • Comment removed

  • Great song, shaky performance at best.. Brian Wilson ( of course) rises above the others.

  • @BeachBoysJanDean1

I agree. The only one up there with class is Brian Wilson. John would have been very proud! Most of the people posting on this video have lost the point completely. the point is that the song is supposed to have meaning for those of us who wish to listen closely enough.I felt the song went well. Those of you who are hating on Brian haven't a clue.

  • @BeachBoysJanDean1 The fact that we still have Brian on this planet and still performing at all is nothing short of a miracle considering all he's been through. I know it's hard for some of you to really comprehend, but try really hard to be fair. K?

  • los mejores yeah

  • so much talent.... but sounds like crap

  • Horrible

  • How to fuck up a Beatles' song! In one Lesson!

  • that is shit what a awful cover of a great song!!

  • Thanks for sharing!! It's pretty cool to think how talented most of these people are, yet it's mind blowing to realize Brian Wilson has more talent than all of them combined; )

  • omg! both bono and wonder sings the song wrong!

  • when Slash n S. Tyler.. The Best moment of this,,

  • billie joe loved the beatles

  • Sounds better second time around though.

  • somtimes it works, somtimes it dosent. I think this is such a sensitive song and was never right for a huge group collabaration.

  • Exactly, you think people would realize this by now. God to hear people over singing this song is like nails on a chalk board. If I heard this version and wasnt a beatles fan, I would never be a beatles fan...

  • Joe Armstrong, Norah Jones and Scott Weiland did great, everyone else sounded like my friends on a Saturday night singstar session

  • @Admark666

its billie joe armstrong, but i agree :)

  • this is a state

  • asco!

  • they ended up singing "something's gonna change my world"

Sinceraly, this is their worst performance ever.

  • bizzare

  • this was not terrible but more like karaoke night.

  • Well, that wasn't very good, was it?

  • Steven Tyler, wuht?

  • HORRIBLE!

  • this is really bad!! i think they should have rehearsed it a couple of times

  • LOL. stevie wonder didn't even know the words.

  • What a horrible ensemble.

  • Nora Jones is RAvi Shankar´s (the man who taught George to play sitar) daughter.

  • I only liked the Tyler and Brian Wilson parts.

  • Brian Wilson was the best, great voice

  • Unbelievable poor.

  • Brian Wilson was the best, is the best!!!

  • lol.

  • Weiland and the guy from Green Day are really good there, so is Brian Wilson but Bono and Alicia Keys are the worst

  • I am happy to see Brian Wilson sing anything, albeit his part was minor. To be quite honest, this is dreadful, I fully agree about Bono being self righteous !

  • are they saying "something's gonna change my world"?

  • I only liked the Weiland and Tyler parts.

  • A rehearsal might have helped. Freaking awful.

  • lmfaoo

  • Good crack, John will be laughing at this show of stars struggling with his song. Incidentally, he wrote the song for the World Wildlife Fund, who told him to stick it up his ass. Bunch of idiots, what a great song.

  • They all seem like frozen, they look like '' I don't know what to do'' , maybe there was too many people on stage.

  • Steven Tyler you have a unique voice... no words can describe that

  • Bono, Norah Jones, Billie joe, and Scott are the only goods

  • brain wilson an asshole. what

  • He had a legendary reputation for being difficult to work with.

  • Nothing could be the furthest thing from the truth. Unless your name is Mike Love, nobody has ever complained about working with Brian Wilson. He has been one of the easiest and most respected individuals by his peers and legendary session musicians. Brian's voice may be gone from his years of personal struggles, but so many are just enjoying the beauty of him sharing his music again with the world, now without a certain talentless leech sucking the life and spirit out of him.

  • Maybe because he and the beach boys were great influences to john lennon and the rest of the beatles. And vice versa. Brian Wilson was also mentally unstable so that could be partly why he is a so called "asshole"

  • Billie Joeee (L)

  • well that was bad.

  • Is that slash..

  • Seriously, Billie Joe is the only one who sounded good. I guess it's a pretty tough song to make your own.

  • It could be better, but it's not so bad.

  • they should let mark chapman out now just to shoot all these untalented american idiots - you killed a classic !!!!

and stevie wonder didnt even learn the words - too busy eating cheeseburgers

  • so true, its so funny he is babeling something that has nothing to do with the lyrics.

  • Why was Brian Wilson's part so small, when that rightious prick Bono was on neally every other line ?

  • por dios q malo q es!!

  • i fucking love billy joe XD

  • American talentless shit. Wish there was something to change their world, called a power cut. Disgusting, Bono aint a yank but he has become a sucking corporate whore like the others on stage

  • Brian Wilson the greatest Songwriter ever!

  • @sunrise4783

but John Lennon wrote this song? :/

  • @Somuchtoplay

sure i know it. but brian is still the greatest songwriter. Lennon+mccartney+martin = brian wilson ;)

  • amateur night at the grammys

  • this is horrible, every last artist up there tried to put their own spin on it and the end result turned into the worst clusterfuck of talent/musical timing/and singing on key i've ever seen. thanks for butchering a beautiful song you assholes. after a second listening, not even the band is keeping it together, i give this performance 0 points and may god have mercy on their souls.

  • epic shit

  • bloodbath

  • You would think if they were going to pay homage to the best songwriter of all time they would at least have the professional respect to learn the words to probably the best lyrics Lennon ever wrote...I could have done better!

  • bono and steven tyler stay, the rest of you can leave

  • I think they all realised whilst on stage how fucking shit they sounded...

  • What a mess!

  • wow stevie wonder way to fuck up horribly.

  • Wooooow. This pretty much sucked.

Nore Jones looks stoned or something. T_T

  • Hey, clevername 44 - are you really dorkhunter 1 in disguise ?? If not - then you two should get together. You could console each other in your joint (sad) bitterness and sad melancholy. You'd be great partners for each other.

  • Steven Tyler was pretty good.

  • Poor Brian Wilson.

  • This was a disaster. Brian Wilson has pudding for brains.

  • Tantos Famosos...

Pero ninguno se compara con John Lennon...

  • Ah claro!!!! Eso ni quien lo dude....

  • Slash is some spastic.

  • Good song choice at least.

  • I love the Beatles and this song particularly. That said, this is hurting my ears.

  • Sorta ironic. Brian wilson and the beach boys were once fighting with the beatles on record sales back then. Now he actully fun to see him singing on of there songs. Funny how things play out

  • I think that it was more of a competition between Brian Wilson and Paul McCartney. The 4 other Beach Boys were nothing special, well except Dennis. John, George, and Ringo were more in a competition against the Stones.

  • Alison shoulda got in there on vocals...

  • billie joe is so cute 1:34 -1:54

  • Brian Wilson - greatest on that stage. His performance here wasn't great but hes the biggest legend on that stage. Steven Tyler just butchered the part he sang. Bono (part of the most overrated band of all time) sucked. Stevie Wonder was great. Alicia Keys, Norah Jonas and Billie Joe were all good. The ending sucked though. It contradicted the entire song. No one can sing it like Lennon.

  • awful bloody terrible. Bono kept cutting across people fuckin twat cant stand him. someone should shove that harmonica up stevies arse aswell.

  • Brian!!!

  • bloody terrible apart from that chick in white top (alicia keys?) shes the only one on stage that can sing

  • this was okay..but still.

    when they sang all together,

    it..yeah weird.

  • Wow this is pretty terrible....

  • alecia keys, norah jones, and tim mcgraw singing a sacred beatles song?? skeptical at first and some parts were absolutely terrible but overall somehow a good rendition, if that makes sense

  • Bono, Alicia, Norah..excellent..

  • slash teabags noobs

  • fuck the comercial music

  • oh yea and slash is a badass

  • i like this song when covered by

a girl, with echos... and a harmony

to the "nothings gonna change my world"

    part of the lyrics

  • That was...pretty damn bad. Aside from Steven Tyler, Bono and Billie Joe Armstrong, I don't think anyone did that good a job, and did they have to change the lyric to "Something's gonna change my world" in the last verse? I hate it when people do that.

  • brian wilson, alicia keys and norah jones were pretty bad haha

bono, scott weiland, steven tyler and even billie joe did really good.

  • lol total ownage

this seems like a legendary performance i mean a classic song and tons of celeb singers

  • steven tyler owned all

  • vaya manera de joder una cancion, ni entre tanto artista le hacen sombra a los beatles, una pena lo de brian participando en esto, el es mas y con mucho, va sobrao vaya.

  • did stevie wonder forget the lyrics? "caressing and caressing me" ???!!!

  • They killed it...

  • Chuta que é macumba!

  • That was criminal

  • Oh my God! Brian Wilson at 0:58 sounds like me left all his talent in that mental hospital. Can you believe that's the guy that crafted "Good Vibrations"? Sad

  • this song has never even been done properly, in my opinion not even by the beatles - they attempted a number of different versions and weren't happy with any of them. especially the let it be version with phil spector's horrible disney strings.

so it seems kind of fitting that it should be completely murdered by some of the biggest acts in the world, showing that literally no one can get it right.

the final nail in the coffin for what should be a beautiful song
