Some people have no idea... Tony Royster Jr is nothing compared to this guy, what Royster does is what this guy made. This guy basically pioneered all that gospel chop rubbish but the best bit is that he has made it musical. One of the most musical, talented and fluent drummers out there. Don't believe me? Just check out his stuff with Dave Holland. Some of the best drumming you'll ever hear and if you don't agree? Post a vid of you doing it all note for note because I don't know anyone who can

For one, he knows how to entertain an audience. I've seen him live, and he DOES do some of the most crazy, tight and creative drumming. Second, you should check out his album Pots n Pans.
Third, there's all kinds of top notch musicians out there whom welcome Billy Kilson as a drummer and I'm not even talking about Chris Botti. But Dave Holland, Ahmad Jamal, George Duke are some. If you think they want to hire a goober bastard, well, then you're being kind of a retard.
