I thought this entire video was leading up to the fact that radio was listening, tv was watching, and the internet is interactive, that marketing too had to be interactive and engrossing.

And then they stopped at just make better videos. Somehow I think taking your own advice and adapting to the medium would be better than whatever this video said.

@dipank123 I dunno, it's advertising for the company. the first half is directed at a pretty broad audience. the second half narrows its scope to the industry/people who might actually hire them. the video might not go viral in the 'traditional' sense, but instead catch on with the right people in the right circles. Personally, if I were these guys, I'd much rather prefer the line you see in this video's stats than the one in...let's say the Google Wave video.

Couldn't it be said there have been ads /videos made to share for decades? Say, this happens...

Person 1: 'Did u see the cool ad from X last nite, no? aw, u gotta keep a watch out for it!'

....a day passes they meet again....

Person 2: 'I saw it, I saw it!'

The experience is the same but the sharing isnt. TV ads that didn't create that buzz, were bad, just like on the web.

What I'm saying is, sharing was always there, its just easier today. So, a good TV ad should work on the web, yea / no? :)

Advertisement on the side. At the end of the video there are advertisements, where related videos used to be. When you go to the youtube homepage, there is an advertisement across the top.

People sought to find freedom on the internet. Freedom from those annoying tv commercials while watching videos, so advertisers stepped in and shit all over video websites like youtube.
