Good point. I am a black woman and I loved the fact that these kids were active and talked like they had some purpose and goals. The were clean, in school and want to be somebody. The only cartoons on tv rt now are talking sponges etc. I hope this show gets picked up soon so kids can see something positive. There was an article on ABC about skin color and the gist was kids learn what their parents teach them. So I hope the woman above teaches her kids to love themselves and all skin colors.
Catchy beat... my kids were trying to do the dance moves. Just looked at a few clips and loved the concept of kids creating a group and working together. Thank you for the kid friendly fashion and for making the characters active. Riding bikes and skate boards. Urban kids like being out doors too.
As a cartoonist and a black dude I love this cartoon already. There aren't many cartoons that portray a dark skinned cast and the greats ones that existed are far gone (Static Shock, Waynehead, C-Bear and Jamal).
Kudos to you guys at Blacktree Media. This looks awesome. Great styling and awesome animation.
I showed my niece, and she loved Da Jammies!! Thanks for bringing real cartoons back
