@RoughThief The "karma" meter actually determines Vincent's personality. Blue means Vincent should get Katherine because the blue edge represents peaceful marriage. The red means Catherine is better for Vincent in the end. The red represents a wild, exciting marriage. If you try to get with Katherine while you're in the red or Catherine in the blue in the end of the game, they'll dump you because Katherine can't offer Vincent a wild marriage, and Catherine can't offer a peaceful marriage.

I'd be very pissed but not surprised if Katherine was lying the whole time. Just a thought.
