I am a Phar D student myself, I was a practicing 7th Day Adventist also. I was raised for a good part of my life believing that god and jesus existed. I mean the idea of Heaven and hell is so wrapped up in grandeur, who can help but to be engulfed by religion. I am a Phar D student myself, I was a practicing 7th Day Adventist also. I was raised for a good part of my life believing that god and jesus existed. I mean the idea of Heaven and hell is so wrapped up in grandeur, who can help but to be engulfed by religion. Haha you just imagine my life is perfect because I believe in God. Ive lost about every possession in my life. I live in a shithole. I work 50 plus hours a week because my dad has a disease that is slowly killing him and he isnt able to work. Has my family died in an accident? No, but I dont think that proves anything. I thank God for my job and the fact that I still have a home to live in. Dont be so ignorant.

"Hell" is a PETTY THREAT that carries no weight. The concept of Hell is a plagiarism of the Greco-Roman mythical "Hades/Tartarus" & Hindu's "Naraka" as NT concept of HELL never existed in the OT, only "Sheol" which is simply "the grave". "Gehenna", in the OT (from "Ge Hinnom", meaning "Valley of Hinnom") is not described as a spiritual hell, but a literal valley in Jerusalem used for burning rubbish. Jews don't BELIEVE in HELL! It is a "Fear" tool for recruiting.

That is what a belief is. Now given that how can you be so sure of anyones faith because they say they belive they are saying they have an opinion or conviction without proof. Thus this means we have a huge discrepency with all of this.

God does answer prayer!! is what you're praying for in the will of God or your own will and wants. do you pray for spiritual things or material things? you have to look at the prayer that Christ use as a guide to show the disciples how to pray. read it for understanding. separate it piece by piece and line by line.

You are 100% right. Humans need to take responsibility for their own actions and not look to a magical being (god) for wisdom, advice, and direction in life.
