  • beast

  • Got the same exact year/everything just mines black :p

  • I bet it would still beat the fuck out of a Honda. even if it is a 3.1.

  • I've beaten many honda's with my 2.8

  • same here.

  • KEEP yur FUCKING commetns for YOU!FUCKER!

  • Eat the 2-week old dingleberries out of my shitty ass you cumstain!!!

  • you should probly start whiping alot better

  • Your stupid, the 3.1 is a really powerful tourqy engine, I have one in my Sunbird, its slightly modified, but I am smashing all civics, cobalts, v6 firebirds and camaros. Dude, just because you can afford a big V8 doesnt mean we all can.

  • i walk all over even V8 firebird and camaros in my lightly modded turbo ford.

  • lol what do you want with this TOY MOTOR!only V8!!!!!That`s te bringer!

  • thats just about right, most 2.8/3.1 cars stock dyno about 100-110 rwhp

  • my v6 3.1 sounds like an old 350 with a cam

  • until you hit the gas.

  • very true i have a 1991 3.1 camaro lol

  • i like the v8 firebirds better because they have that aggressive sound listen to my trans am it sounds loud

  • ok - thanks but I cant really make out what it all means (Ive never DT'd my cars). Canu interpret the codes and stuff u have? What are losses and dinenm and the rest?

  • oke read ;)

engspd is the max RPM befor the car shifts to another gear (automatic gearbox)

DInwhp is the horsepower @ the wheel

Dinehp is the horsepower @ the engine itself.

dineNM is the newtonmeter @ the engine.

losses is howmutch horsepower the car losses from the maximum horsepower (dinehp) to to minimum after the top hp

  • Is that response to me? becuase I didnt recieve the alert, I know how to read a dyno, ever heard of HP Tuners..

  • um, well what were your results?

  • engspd: 6438RPM

    DInwhp 101,0 hp @ 4661 RPM

    DineHp 119,9 hp @ 5138 RPM

    DINEnm 207,4 nm @ 3587 RPM

    Losses 29,8 hp @ 6435 RPM

  • I'm buying a 1996 Grand Prix SE, 3.1SFI V6, perfect running condition, and I was wondering where can I go to get my car dyno tested like that? Dealer, garage, etc? Thanks for any info 8-)

  • high-performance shop. dyno tuning runs on average like 50-100 bucks per hour. Being stock you have no real reson to dyno the car. firebird guy your numbers where lower than factory spec...

  • and his car is almost 20 years old too, lol

  • Youll have to research for a reliable Dyno in your area, Getting a Dyno tune is a good thing for that car, its underated factory and downtuned at the PCM. PM me with your results.
