Nah that's not yet. It didn't really come from anywhere, just during the Doom 3 playthrough, when they showed up I just randomly said "Here comes Fred the TurnipHead". I at least think "TurnipHead" probably came from Lost, because somebody uses that as a nickname for a baby, but not completely sure.

Unless they're working on 2 new Doom games now, the new one is Doom 4, they mentioned it quite a long time ago. It was announced as in production in 2008.

1.press ctr l+alt+~ to open console.

2.type god for god-mode.

3.type give all for all weapons and armor etc.

this is very awesome cheats . i have tried that and it works too.

BTW, you can do a game-long glitch if you use console-commands to get a weapon at the begining and then kill somebody with a PDA. It then contains all of your personal stuff instead of the one that you get from the guy at teh desk.

Duct Tape is just a type of tape. In this case, it's a mod that puts a flashlight on some of your weapons, apparantly taping the flashlight on with Duct Tape.

How come people get upset when flash lights arent on guns? I mean it is a bummer i guess depending on what type of game your playing but iv'e seen people say that it spoils the gameplay for them. I think that it makes it more fun because when you are stuck in dark rooms hidden enemies may catch you off guard and scare you. WHEN IT SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME I THINK THAT ITS FUNNY AS HELL AND SHOCKING AT THE SAME TIME (sorry if I was loud paul) lol

I like it both ways, I prefer without lights on guns overall because I like the darkness and the panic of having to switch your weapon out if something shows up.

When you say this "isn't Doom" what do you mean by that exactly? If you don't mind me asking, just curious as to why some people just don't like this game.

Just that it's totally different from the old Doom games. Doom has always been a pretty fast-paced, actiony game with lots of enemies, but Doom 3 turns into a slightly more slow-ish horror game.

Either way, I like the old Doom and the new Doom, all awesome.

Ah I see, it is rather different on a large scale but Doom 3 does seem a little fast-paced sometimes.. well, maybe only when you are actually fighting. Still an awesome game all round though I think yeah.

I must admit too I'm glad they left out Spectors in Doom 3, can barely see them as it is in Doom II, make me crap myself every time since I only notice them when there right next to me D:

That guy at the desk, that gives you the PDA... after the cutscene he starts typing on his computer. If you stand behind him you can see what he types. It's basically a report and blah blah, but then he types in another window, and it's a pretty funny bit, with him complaining the marine (as in, you) was rude, 'hovering behind him' and watching as he typed, and ends with a Paul-esque "STOP IT".

Anyway, bloody hell Paul, now I'm wasting days just watching Your vids.
