if you still want to play it i did my best to transcribe the first 1:18 of this song. The rest is mostly repetition and variation, so you should be able to transcribe the rest now or play some parts, if you feel like :)
So incredible amounts of feeling in this song :D Any guitar player will love it! Great work, just wanted to check the sound of Tokai Stock PUs actually, when i clicked on this. Now I wanna buy a whole Tokai Loverock xD Someday....
Gotta love the the 'bluenotes' at 2:23 xD Mean things
really the only difference between a tokai and a gibson is that the gibson pickups are a bit brighter but its barely noticeable so in my opioion tokai is a bit better.
@ravenshield56 Hi Ravenshield, I have been asked this a number of times but as I said earlier, I've never used tabs. I don't have the tabs for any of my stuff. I'd love to help but unfortunately can't help you this time.
@ravenshield56 It's ok if your inexperienced. Just use your ears and pick one simple little piece and try your best at replicating it on the gtr. Then go on from there. Just take little steps. Your ears will improve. It's just like learning to ride a bike. Little steps.
You guys sound great I love the bluesy groove you have going. I'll have to check out your website. Nice sounding Tokai guitars by the way I've been thinking of buying one while I am in Japan.
@HazardousSmoker Sorry for the rather late reply. I have just bought a '92 Love Rock LS55 Cherry Sunburst (made in Japan NOT China) and it is magnificent. The craftmanship of these guitars is second to none! If you haven't already, do yourself a favour and buy a Tokai. Somebody employed by that well known, but rather expensive Les Paul manufacturer should examine a Tokai carefully. They might learn something.
Awsome! I have a Takai LS150 I purchased this past Christmas, and to sum it up, I'm still celebrating Christmas. Tokai guitars are Japans best kept secrete. Every bit as good as Gibson and in some ways, much better than Gibson. And did I mention the price tag?
PLEASE MAKE TABS, i beg you

On paper these guitars seem very similar. What would you say are the differences in tone and feel from your experience?

Sounds Good. Are the Tokais versatile enough to play heavier things like hard rock or drop tuned metal???
ChrisHalv 1 year ago
@ChrisHalv In a word: Yes. Tokai's pickups are pretty hot, even on the bottom-rung Love Rocks, so they do higher gain tones well.
lordieuan777 1 year ago
@ChrisHalv of course.

Great job !
What year is the Tokai Les Paul ?
I've been wanting one for years after
owning a Tokai Strat.
Finally got a Gibson last week, same color as your Tokai, at an unbelievable price.
A spur of the moment buy.
A real, "if you don't buy it now, it will be gone tomorrow". kind of thing.
