  • Beetlejuice, Dennis the Menance, and Futerama make fun of The Wizard of Oz, this show is now making of this as well. Well guess what people? There's going to be a remake of the movie. Big Surprise.

  • I'll get you my pretty, and your little Ug too!

  • there's a scene missing from 9.22, there was suppose where those flying monkey rejects said something and taking off, here its not shows how americans crop away scenes that doesn't recure the plot

  • Irony defined (:

  • Seems everyone's hit on the characterisation parts, but I'll give my two cents.

Tricero as the Tin Man and Stego as the Cowardly Lion definately work (lol'ed at him saying he needs "guts" rather than "courage"), but I'm surprised they didn't cast Dimetro as the Wizard. He's the technical one of the bunch, and more apathetic than BT, making his not caring about the heroes' plights more understandable.

  • I'm surprised Bonehead wasn't the Scarecrow rather than Allo, they even tweak his voice to sound more like him, but like someone mentioned, the Scarecrow was the leader of sorts. Teryx as the Good Dinosaur was an obvious choice, Bonehead as the Munchkins was a surprise, but it works, and it's funny to see Rex and Dy as the witches. =D

  • EW! he DOES sound like Barney! it probably IS the same voice actor.

  • I looked up Barney to find out if it was the same actor or not and I can vouch that no one who did Dinosaucers ever made the voice of that big dumb purple dinosaur. I bet who ever made Allo's voice made himself sound different for this episode.

  • **SIGH** Things were so much simpler back then

  • How nice I'm watching this episode after hearing about the new Oz RPG they're coming out with! Woot for coincidences!

  • They just HAD to do their own take on that classic movie, did they!? :p

Why did they put Allo in the role of the scarecrow??? Bonehead would've been the perfect choice! He could use a brain. ;P

The other two were perfect in their roles. Tricero as the tin man? Yeah! He could use a heart. And Stego as the lion? He "definately" needs some courage.

But Ghenghis Rex gets a sex change??? LOL!

Teryx as the good witch of the north was probably the best choice they made. :D

  • The reason Allo is the scarecrow is because (if you never really paid much attention to the story of The Wizard of OZ) the scarecrow was sort of the leader of the bunch, so the Dinosaucer leader Allo was the obvious choice to play the part.

Bonehead did however played a brief part at the start as the boneshcins.

  • But Allo was the smartest. It would have been fun to see him as brainless for a change.

  • @Hotshotter3000 o dear god haha, to think they also have fossilizers, That would be funny to watch him try to aim with it XP

  • Why does the Wizard sound like W.C. Fields?

  • Rintintinatops, Lol

Treyx look so beautyful in this one & the boneshcins look funny.

They could've hit arg on the head again with a bat or something. problem then solved.

I pretty much doubt the writers of this episode were smoking pot ninjadragon5.

This is also one of my faveroite episodes. sorry if I didn't spell right on a few words.

  • seriously, were the creators smoking pot when they made this episode? XD

  • allo sounds like barney... i hate barney! he's so annoying!

  • That's the one thing I hated about this episode. Len Carlson made Allo sound like that XD

  • except that this was 4 or 5 years before Barney was an annoying twinkle in it's creator's eye...but it's probably the same voice actor (that'd suck). I know the Voice actor for Allo is a Canadian...he was a narrator on several canadian-produced HGTV oriented (diy shows) tv.

  • Yes I am aware Carlson was also on other shows. His voice is indistinguishable :3

  • Luckily Len Carlson never ever did Barney, I looked it up. He just was trying to make his usual voice sound different for the Scareasaurus...though it ended up sounding like Barney.

  • *insert Wicked Witch theme here* >.>

  • Heh heh heh. This episode is obviously a reference to "The Wizard of Oz".
