Dude, this is not only a copy of John's video but you have your concepts wrong too... you show a trucking and call it a dolly; you show an XCU from low angle which gives a wrong perspective and so on.... i think you didn't see John's video enough times before making your's
Great video... but can I ask, why at 6:11 does an image pop-up for a split second saying media off-line in about 15 different languages on a red background? Anybody would think you were trying to be subliminal!
For all you filmmaking fanatics out there who are aspiring filmmakers like me, I have some interesting filmmaking ebooks that I'd love to share with you. I can email them to you if you'd like. Just leave me your email address and I'll get them to you as soon as possible. Good luck.
I'm creating a film called "Clock Watch". It's a fast pase sequence. Bourne Ultimatum kinda feeling. Anyways, i'll be posting a intro in a few weeks to come. Still in the process of filming.
u ppl didnt talk about tracking... so as to show d beginers d diff btw dollying and tracking.. n white balancing was also not very clear.. otherwise a nice video..
Wonderful! If you end up working in the Film and Television Industry it's all about who you work for. I also prefer the Adobe Suite and it's generally what I play with at home.
i'm pretty sure, they are different colours....not sure though. nah joking, nothing really, they are just the two colours fartherst away from our skin tone so they work well when keying, but if you were shooting on grass you may want to use a blue screen for example
Great explanation.. really helped me but you only get 3 stars. -2 due to having Wolf Mother as the song choice. Of all the bands you could of used. arrrrghhh!
Thanks! I have been looking on You Tube for a really great video like this to show my film class- thanks man, you are helping to inspire young film makers!

Very nice video, this looks like it would be great for helping beginners.
I see you use Premiere Pro & After Effects. Nice, I use those too.

The Adobe suite is very powerful... Although you'll find that most editing/ compositing software is very similar.
oweni 2 years ago
Yeah I know; Adobe and Final Cut are especially similar.
I've used most of the available software out there, but just decided to settle on Adobe.

My ultimate ambition is to direct. Yes, you are right.
Yeah, I mainly chose Adobe because of After Effects; it's a great value.

This might be a dumb question, but what is the diffence between green screen and blue screen??

sharmaboi 2 years ago
no difference, but if you use green items in your vid. You might rather choose a blue screen.
PS: That was not a dumb question.
Sergeantspoon 2 years ago
One is Green, and one is Blue.
Really.
If the actors need to wear green suits, a blue screen is used.
SaulSquid 2 years ago
the blue screen is blue and the green screen is blue.
thats pretty much it, they do the same thing
Danfango700 2 years ago
The blue screening was cool, just hold a blue card?
