i havent gone for it yet! i cant bloody wait, i looked like you but with a normal chin! my upper jaw needs moving forward,it has made my nose look flat, doest change the nose shape??iv had my braces on for 4 months now and waiting for my 2nd follow up appointment,how much longer do think i have to wait for my operation? thanx.xxx

Hi James. how will your nose change ? I am getting surgery too and my doc says that the nose might get wider, but that's it. he said that they can do some sort of nostril pinch to minimize alar width, but that nothing else will change with my nose. I am getting both upper and lower.
no pain that isn't tolerable at all i assure you. After the surgery your jaw would be totally numb..so definitely it won't be painful. although u might feel uncomfortable pressure everywhere that it may seem really painful...but nothing to be afraid of. It'll only be for a few days. my nose chage and a had up and bottom jaw suegery, still numb and swollen Goodluck to you ;)

wow your swelling took the full 8 weeks...my surgeon always told me it's 2 to 3 weeks.
