Really? I thought they did it the same way they did "Sexual Eruption" where he sent his vocals and she added her tracks. I'd love to see video of them in the studio together. That would be cool. For some reason I can't hear this song without imagining her knitting mittens and making a pie for Snoop...and it seems silly as hell.
yes, i'm aware, having had the album for a few years now (before it came out in the us).
the way they fucked with the backing track of this song on the uk/us versions of the album was bad enough, but no, they had to add a lame snoop dogg rap in attempts to make it "current," too. yes. it's awful.
I respectfully disagree with you. I like The song with and without Snoop. The decision to change the backing track on this as well as on "Should have Known" were entirely Robyn's so write her an angry letter expressing your displeasure.
the backing track on "should have known" wasn't changed from edition to edition -- it's simply a different version than the one that appeared on her don't stop the music album a few years prior.
i fully respect the fact that robyn decided to change the backing tracks to this song and "robotboy," though i also find it a bit perplexing from someone who talks about her uncompromising approach to music; the change makes it seem like she doesn't trust her non-swedish listeners to appreciate the songs without putting a dance-ish spin on them. adding snoop is similarly confusing.
but i'm not getting my panties in a bunch about it. some people like it, so i don't care. i still love robyn.
I have both albums (although I'm probably going to try to see if I can find the Swedish version of the "Robyn" album) and the differences between the two versions of "Should Have Known" were miniscule. I think she added Snoop to "Bum" as a way of following up "Sexual eruption". I respect her decisions as a record company exec to tweak her music. It's hers she can do what she want with it and we're agreed in our love of Ms. Carlsson's music.

Uhh... Album version has nothing of Snoop in sight. It's better without him, too.
And yes, name of the song is "Bum Like You."

Robyn was in the studio together whith Snoop a while ago recording her new album .
Snoop is featured in some of her songs .
I guess they just did this remix " for fun " while they were there and released it as a singel .

You obviously don't have her most recent album because this song (without Snoop) is on it.
