This true, I got a cobalt drill bits kit, and man they really work I mean you can actually see the difference, is is not expensive, believe me if you want to try buy just 1 bit and you will see.
This is bullshit.
Cobalt serves to increase heat resistance.
Its no use in drilling plastics or wood.
Drilling plastic is a question of getting feed and speed right.
What makes high quality bits better is the way the edges are ground.
Worst would be normal "black" rolled drill that are ground pretty much like it was done by hand.
Best are industrial quality drills that are ground like centerdrills, as in cutting over center.
Best investment is a 50year old 3-phase drill press.....
