Modern Warfare 2 was the last real CoD. I didn't like Black Ops, and I hate MW3 with a passion.

bought MW3 my first COD game had fun with but went off for while do to net troubles. If I start playing again find out it's dead I'm going pissed cause I know I should have gotten BF3 instead. I mainly got it to do I know I meet so awesome players on it and I love the arcade style where I can just do my thing. But the bad over powers the good that is for sure.

They had this level 1 person that was truly garbage at the game so i get my entire party to run up to him and just jump and let him kill us all. I played MW2 today, and it was the first time in 5 months I've played a COD. Once I found a lobby without tubers I had a good time. I can't even remember the last time I played COD without raging by the end. And the mentality of thinking the next installment will be better: we all think that every year, and look what has happened. MW2 had major issues, BO had different (but just as severe) issues, MW3 is a whole new animal entirely on the problem list. Things won't get better until they reboot.

oh yeah COD is sooo boring now. The first Cod i played was MW3 and i Loved it despite its flukes, i put over 60 days of gameplay as of now. Black Ops was in my opinion more challenging than MW2 and it was a little more balance AFTER all the updates n i put about 28+ days. Then MW3 came out i put 4 days of gameplay and i gave up afterwards, its soooo horrible. i need a new game any recommendations? I've played BF3 and its not really my style so is there any other game worth giving a try?

@IamSoulSurvivor Developing the game for a longer period of time has nothing to do with balancing players. Even if they spent more time developing the game they would still have lag comp, bad spawns, op weapons etc... they want this stuff in the game. It wasn't an accident. When it comes down to it, Activision is a corporation. Corporations want more money. How do you get more money? Make a product that is appealing to a bigger crowd. That's what is really happening.

Activision has to make it's fiscal period and they make sure their workers do what they are told and put out a game they know is not done yet and that is why you see so many problems with COD

Lag Comp masks the hit detection problems and ping latency issues. Im tierd of making it around the corner and wall and make it in a building and see in the kill came that wow that bullet goes around corners. if more time was takin on MP you would not have that problem

MW3 is weighted to beginners, they say that in interviews. I don't know why everyone keeps crying about it. It's still a fun game albeit frustrating at times. I have been playing the series since COD3. I am not a treyarch fan and actually have been mixing up my gaming with BF3 to keep my sanity. I will quit the series if the next modern warfare is still weighted to newbies. Until then, it's a pretty fun game and you can wreck it with a squad so who cares?

I think MW3 had a big part in killing the COD series, but in reality, I think we are all getting tired of COD plain and simple. COD can't live forever. Is there a viable replacement for COD?
