Hi, I think its better to buy nexus one as it has 1ghz processor which n900 and iPhone 3gs doesn't have, but if u want to play games in the phone then go for iPhone 3gs because u can jailbreak it and download thousand of games and applications for free. On the other hand if you want to chat fast and browse the internet really fast with multitasking go for nokia n900 take care have a nice weekend

Also the N900 never gets obsolete. Because its an internet tablet. You can run any OS on top of it, provided you have the necessary drivers just like you run XP & installing the drivers. So if you are a geeky hacker, there is nothing that you can't do with your N900. Of course the hardware should support it. There are a lot of apps for debian, which you can port easily. The most appealing thing for me is it runs GNU/Linux & I can program in C as opposed to droid where I'm stuck with evil java.

One great thing in N900 - you can run on it any opensource Linux software from PC. This means you can play Battle For Wesnoth, you can edit documents in OpenOffice and it have multitasking - you can edit documents, talk on facebook or msn (pidgin is multi-IM) and play games at the same time, easyli switching between tasks and it still run fast.

To be honest N900 is a portable Linux-powered computer (which means great performance and the majority (about 95%) of linux PC apps).

hi there nice question and thnx. First of all if you will dim the display light of n900 it will run for long time offcourse and same thing for 3g s. Second reason is that as nokia n900 has got screen widgets for news headlines and weather forecast it will go to net every time and update the news and weather and much more things on the daily routine and all these things are not available on iphone 3gs. Iphone has got the applications but u have to tap that appliation to get news but n900 update

if u only go for msgs then it will last for more than one day offcourse but if u listening to music for two days offcourse the battery drain as you are using the processor of n900

@shams923 i got the n900 and i send like 100 - 200 texts a day i have a lot of widgets on my phone and i listen to music on it up to 4 hours a day even more and the battery dies after 2-3 days and i think thats ok if you buy the phone and dont make your battery configuration that means opening the box turning on your n900 finish the remaining battery and put it to charge and leave it for 24 hours your battery life will be twice as much but it might not work if you unpug it, turn on while chargin

Hi thx for ur comment, i think n900 screen is far better than n97 because its just like a capacitative screen but there is a lack of multitouch in it. On the otherhand, multitask is very fast and attractive u love it and you will not feel difference if you are using nokia n900 because beleive me the touch screen is very good its not like a nokia n97
