  • This song healed me and put me back together. I don't belong here and I'm proud of where I do belong. Thanks Switchfoot :)

  • Beautiful Letdown was supposed to be a Neverending White Lights song featuring the singer...until the record industry took it and made switchfoot do it alone

  • "It was the beautiful letdown", the point in time when you realize you will never find happiness, true happiness, without Jesus Christ in your life. You might be filling the hole with alcohol, sex, or partying, but it will fade, and you will find yourself alone. Those are the points in life when you realize, that it is truly a beautiful letdown. Beautiful in the sense, He is right there, waiting to make you happy, for eternity.

  • @MrOver90000 I have happiness without Jesus Christ. My life is filled with passionate love for life and others, not sex, drugs, pills, or alcohol.

Please do not generalize non-Christians. (Not that I am offended, but generalizations, on the whole, tend to be false.)

  • This song's really gotten me through some depressing stuff. Thanks Lord.

  • i dont belong here

  • Best song on this album.

  • wow. I've known this band for a long time and i've never noticed that the lead singer looks like Bruce Willis.

  • @sabertoothedlime Haha, that's funny but so true. It took me forever to figure that out :P

  • shoowe i did not notice that!

  • @sabertoothedlime WHOOOO HE DOES! Kinda....... hahaa

  • @ilovelink12 its totally up to the new bands up and coming to shape the next gen of music and kill the techno fakers!!!!

  • i dont belong here either! ALL HAIL THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN!

  • @ilovelink12 If I had my way, he who must not be named for lack of deserving even THAT much acknowledgement, ke (only really worth this much, in fact, I'll bet she fucks for nickels) ha, lady gaggag and li'l Gay-ne, would be dragged into an alley and beaten with sacks of oranges for hours, or atleast humiliated on live TV and have their careers ruined. Sounds a bit spiteful I know, but I love music, and only music, and these fuckpuppets are motorboating it like they deserve to call their shit it

  • this song is obviously about God ;)

  • yes with a weapon their weapon is god

  • I'm a songwriter as well, and as such I believe in the power of music to transcend our induvidual boundaries and differences as people.

That is the beauty of music.

I am also a christian, and as such I believe in the power of the Lord to transcend all of our induvidual truths with His absolute Truth, regardless of how we see it.

That is the beauty of God.

  • jon foreman is one amazing song writer :)

  • fantastico musica perfeita

  • This song is so good. Love Switchfoot. I like how they say the church of the drop outs, sinners, failures, and fools. Church is a place where the broken can get fixed by Jesus not a display room. =)

  • @AndiDandi411 I believe music is open to interpretation... just because church was used as an ironic inferrence in the song, does not neccessarily make the lyrics christian.

albeit out of theory of christianity, do some interesting song lyrics come, it is much like most other unproven beliefs, merely a theory.

  • @suckitfuckerIDC

I understand that. The members of Switchfoot are also Christians, which why I also think this song is about God. I wasn't trying to offend anyone with my comment. I was just saying I like that part and what I said is my interpretation of it.

  • @suckitfuckerIDC please don't listen to christian music if you think we believe in false things i dont listen to your katy perry because i think all she says is false so there you have it

  • @SuperJakobi are you retarded? you look at one comment that disagrees with your automatic and frankly lazy one way interpretation, as the absolute 100% certified meaning of the song, and you assume I listen to the most talentless whore save ke$ha the music industry has to offer? I've had a shitty day and I'm not above telling you to go fuck your mother, so go fuck your mother idiot. the next time you talk to me like you have your shit half assed straight, think about what you're fucking saying.

  • @SuperJakobi if you have a fucking problem with people listening to music for it's alternative meanings, because that's what music is intended to have, multiple meanings, then you can suck my hung over dick moonie mcfaggot. I don't see the gay little golden cross that says "certified christian" on the front of the damn album, this isn't creed (obviously christian) we're talking about here. I listen to SOME of the old school hip-hop, doesn't mean I shouldn't listen to it 'cause I'm not black.

  • @suckitfuckerIDC Just in case you didn't know, Switchfoot's band members are Christians. But the ting I love about Switchfoot is how they don't just try to appeal to just Christians, but also appeal to other types of people.

  • @majulahagapao Oh I did know. and I agree ilovelink. I can't believe what's happened to music myself. It really IS the general younger female demographic that's responsible for the garbage pile that today's music has become. It's all about appearance, peer pressure and "oooh everybody else who's female I know loves it, and the media tells us men are retarded sex obsessed primates with the intellegence of boulders with down syndrome, so their opinions don't matter! tee hee!". It's a clusterfuck.

  • @SuperJakobi now to avoid wasting too much time on this shitbox I call a computer, I'm going to allow you the benefit of the doubt, and say you just scrolled down, saw one guy disagree with me, and said "I can look like I know what the fuck I'm talking about" then posted your line of bullshit like anyone gave a fuck. but the next time you decide your fucking version of the interpretation is the only one, think before you try ramming your intrusive christian meat down people's necks. peace out.

  • Stop fighting and just listen to the good music. That's what it's here for: Making your ears tingle and your body sway. Not for your teeth to grind and your fingers murder your innocent keyboard.

  • THIS SONG IS NOT STRICTLY ABOUT GOD OR JESUS. It's about whatever you want it to be. Thats the beauty of music. To me it's about an epiphany; its about realizing what you've been working towards isnt worth it, but at the same time you realize that theres something else worth working for

  • @BatteryBlaster What kingdom is he talking about then?

  • @poethepoetspoet your own kingdom. A mental state of peace, knowing what you're alive for; Knowing what your reason for living is. That's how I interpret it. If you want to interpret it as Heaven, I honestly don't have any problem. I just wanted to say that music is never definite. As a songwriter myself, I write something so that it means something specific to ME, but at the same time can be interpreted in a myriad of ways by other people who read/listen to it. We live for hearing other POV's

  • True Christianity is not a religion. this song is awsum tho!! Just like Jesus was let down by his own jewish people, those who believe God, not just believe IN him, shouldnt completly blend into the crowd. WE're not perfect, neither is the rest of the world. but the true christians, all who belong to God, ARE the church, and the church is messed up too. what makes them different is that they are cleaned up, forgiven, and repented.

  • good song :)

  • i meant doesnt the jewish community*lol

  • xoro youre dont they jewish community belive jesus is just another jew?well that man is who they worship

  • some people find this music boring cuz' theyre all too busy listening to justin beiber, miley cyrus and rap

  • I love the line "We are the church of the dropouts the sinners the fools." Jesus didn't come and die for the rich powerful and perfect. He died for them, but he also came for the losers, the dropouts, the screw ups, the ones nobody loves, who truly need him.A true Christian would know this and would be like Jesus and talk to these people, show them LOVE. If there were more people like that I wouldn't have been an occultist. All I wanted was LOVE, and through Christ, I've finally found it.

  • @gahyid I meant "We are the Church of the dropouts the sinners the failures and the fools"

  • i hate when people say a band is a "christian" band because im jewish and im and still moved by their music and they are only a christian band if they are to you and if that what the song means to you songs are up for interpretation, if the song is christian to the person who wrote it then it is for them

  • @xoroxystar No they are Christian they say so themselves that they worship Jesus Christ. Sorry mate, but as Christians, they do worship the Jewish God.

  • @gahyid i know i never said that they werent christina i know that they but their music is only christian if it is for the person whos listening to it to someone else it could mean something totally different

  • @xoroxystar well christianity is a religion, just take it as they are singing for God...bc well they are!!!(:

  • Before I thought this was just a cool song, today I actually felt it.

  • @Hypercharm yeah, i heard this song when iw as little a lot. now, though, i'm starting to give it thought.

  • @strawberry765 When i say a "christian band" i mean a band with christian people in it. You don't need to spaz :)

  • u know the leaad singer is addicted to meth

  • I love this band and this cd. Children of God please pray for the unbelievers and avoid foolish arguments. Be Christ like in all our affairs. Jesus loves us.

  • --Making a point or standing up for something you believe in is one thing, but really, people... if anything, all you're doing is making non-believers more antagonistic toward christianity.

  • In my opinion, The Beautiful Letdown was Switchfoot's best album. Powerful, down to earth lyrics, infectious melodies... this song and Dare You To Move are definitely the highlights. Let my foolish pride forever let me down :) by the way, not once has an argument about religion over the internet resulted in something other than stupidity, so just RELAX and enjoy the song. I'm sure the poster of this video would rather that you not fill his comment box up with idiotic rantings.

  • i love god so mutch

  • i love god so mutch

  • how can someone dislike this? i cant fathom it.

  • my favorite Switchfoot song...........

  • great message put to words

  • yo, i aint christian, not an atheist either

i grew up listening to switchfoot, and i still love them

  • Don't fit in. Stand out!

    what a beautiful letdown. ;)

  • I saw Switchfoot live, they said that they didn't want to associate God with music..

  • @TheFridayDrive They mean that they don't want to say: "This is Christian music", because it would exclude others from the party. They definitely talk about God in their songs, though, and are strong believers.

  • Switchfoot know how to use rock with love not a weapon.

  • i am tired of good this and mesage that i listen for a reason god not one of them i dont hate god but its not always will god want me to listen to switchfoot or metalica he dont care its wat u care about to make him happy not to control us

  • love this song... it's addicting

and i just love the bass guitar!

  • @56tanesha indeed it is, it's my fav song by them. my friend tells me they suck, but i love them.

i have to remix this song

  • @desmondandstuff

my sister finds this kinda music boring too

    but it's very uplifted :D

  • You know what? God is amazing I dont think he wouldve made all you for nothing. Bad things happen because of sin. Anybody who deny Christ is a sinner himself. You people need to put on your big boy pants and grow up. Jesus Christ is our savior!!

  • @NSGA1 Christians are sinners too man

  • @NSGA1 That my friend is one of my favorite quote's :)

  • Yeah wow guys. Can we all quit bashing on religion and people who don't like it either? If you are speaking negatively on either matter then the truth is that you know nothing about either side. You can't some up either in a nutshell.

  • i danced to this song at our dance compition. It was my favorite dance!(:

  • Oh man it really takes off @2:58!

To all you people arguing, music has been inspired by religion for centuries. Artists have all sorts of inspiration and fighting about it is pointless, just enjoy the song.

  • can we just enjoy the music without fighting? seriously this is annoying as hell.

  • moonphoenix is a retard

  • ohkey seriously what is up with the paragraphs after paragraphs just write a freakin comment and go away we really dont care about your point of view

  • Some of us don't want their message, we like the music but we don't choose to participate in 'organized religion' God and organized religion are two different things. Most religions use God to divide, and even kill. No thanks. I like the band, but that's it.

  • @DesperatelyKind We'll just miss you in Heaven. =(

  • no one is perfect exept god

  • Why in the hell EVERY time I listen to a switchfoot song people have to go into religion it's just a song!

  • come on guys theres no need to argue ... just listen to the song

  • @majulahagapao I don't. Look its real simple for me. Everyone should believe what they want, when they want, for whatever reason they want. Like I said, its your world, we're just livin' in it. I don't care to know how it started, it doesn't interest me. If it bothers you and you think that you have to know, and religion makes sense for you.

  • @majulahagapao Then thats exactly what you should believe. But don't expect me to agree with you just because you think its fact. None of this is, its speculatory- 100% I don't see why you insist on questioning my lack of belief. Theres no conclusive evidence in EITHER direction. So do your thing man, don't bother me.

  • rockgoddess has a point. this page is reserved for comments on the song. lets keep it that way

  • all the members of Switchfoot are christian. they write christian songs that uplift your soul and are quite amazing if i do say so myself. they are my favorite band so i should know. they are christian, but they dont keep that label. they are actually, contrary to popular belief, alternative. so, considering your definition of christian, they are not under that label though they do write christian music. but either way they rock!!!!!

  • this is an AMAZING song! I love love love it

  • My friends, there are historical facts of the Bible =) ya that's right, just type in google historical finds of the Bible, and you will see they have found remarkable facts that make the Bible's "stories" true. Also, in the time of Jesus and when he was sent to Pilate, they even say Pilate was alive, and that it was during the times of the Romans, when Augustus was ruling. So my friends, there is that and many other facts =D yaay. love the song too, switchfoot is awesome!

  • THANK YOU :D Switchfoot is a Christian band. People should listen to the message, not just the music. Rock ON :D

  • @sunblocker64 i hate you. they are christian by faith but are not christian artists, ok? They themselves have said that when you slap religion onto music it limits its listeners

  • @danX2TV you can go ahead and hate me, but that was a very inappropriate comment. i said they are a christian band, not that their music is specifically christian. and you don't slap religion onto music. holy crap, that was extremely harsh.

  • @sunblocker64 i got a bit carried away, sorry. but still, ive seen so many people post that they are a christian band when they even said they arent. yeah, it was harsh, im sorry =(

  • @danX2TV i forgive you, and i do really appreciate your apology :) i guess that when you're a christian, and you see God working in so many places in your life, the little messages of his blessing come through others, and i guess we just see their personal christian ideals sneaking through their music.

  • @sunblocker64 thanks :D. im catholic, but i view christian as basically the same thing. we all worship the same god after all. My main point however is that religion shouldnt count as a genre. Music is freedom of expression and interpretation, after all. When i write lyrics i often write it so that it can be interpreted many different ways, but i ussually tie into my faith. The reason i add other POV's is because each to his own; everyone can interpret it their own way

  • @danX2TV :D Exactly! Religion shouldn't really count as a genre, even thought I do like Christian music (Ever hear of Starfield? Check. Them. Out.) It's not the only thing I listen to, though, because there's so much more out there that's got the same kind of message, just not in the obvious spoken way. The Fray's the same kind of deal. I was at the Christian book store the other day getting stuff for VBS and I saw a Fray CD, and I was like, hey, that's cool, they think the same as I do.

  • @danX2TV uhh im pretty sure christian and catholics arent the same. so get your facts right; im Christian and there is a BIG difference. We dont worship mary. we dont worship idols; statues its useless. God says it in the bible not to worship idols. hmm seems like you guyz dont go over that section right? figures. so i pray for you so you can go on the right path to heaven.

  • @zayyah chill. im not getting into a religious debate. I believe what i believe and you believe what you do. My point is we all worship the same God, so why should little details matter? Spare me the "oh you poor misguided soul, ill give you my prayers so that you can-" speech, ok? get over it, a few little differences change nothing. Dont almost all religions teach to accept and embrace the differences between us?

everyone needs get over themselves. music is freedom of expression

  • Here's one of the major differences between Catholic and Christian (Christ Follower.) In the Bible it specifically tells people not to respect any person or people spiritually above themselves (I believe it is in Peter.) Also specifically says a couple verses later on not to call anyone father except your father who is in heaven... That's the real difference between Christians and Catholics... One reads the Bible and the other listens their leaders.

  • @Meralzhe As you mentioned, Christians are people who believe in Christ and that he came to earth to save us from our sins. Catholics believe this and therefore are Christians. Also, Catholics do read the bible. The Mass is filled with readings from the bible.

  • @Meralzhe As for your argument about leaders, of course Catholics listen to their leaders. Every community has leaders that help to keep everything together and organized. Where would we be if we had no governments and no police? And where would we be if we didn't obey the just laws of our country?

  • Argument? I wouldn't call it that, it is merely a statement... If there is such a thing as an evil church, it's the catholic church. The question to whether you should trust the wisdom of man or the Word of God should be an easy one for all of us, but the Catholic believe that there are... Complications. The traditions that they follow countradict the good news, honestly, in the Bible it says the most evil people are the ones that raise themselves above others. The Self Rightouesness

  • @zayyah Many non Catholics believe that Catholics worship Mary and worship statues. The truth is that Catholics don't worship Mary, they honour her because she is the Mother of Jesus. There is a big difference between honouring and worshiping. The same thing goes for statues. Catholics don't worship statues. They keep them as a way to honour (or in the case of a statue of Jesus, worship) the person they represent, not the actual statue. Catholics take all the Commandments seriously.

  • @zayyah I believe Catholicism is a cult I have the def A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.

  • @ld1000xx The fact that the so called son of god was a Muslim makes me wonder why these Christians and Catholics believe that Muslims go to hell lol...

  • @ESDesign2008 wait what at all.... islam was not established until 600 years after the death of christ....

  • After their fifth album they took off their christian band title and went into more secular music, they used to be Christian band, and still are christian people. If Christianity doesn't effect all you do (Followers of Christ.) then the basic idea of redemption from yourself has no real meaning. So in defense of Switchfoot... I will say they still are a Christian Band. Remain ever seeking the truth my friend, Catholicism is a branch that went away from the Bible, but hey, that's nothing new.

  • @sunblocker64 hell yeah!!!!

  • @sunblocker64 Just because they are Christians does not make them a Christian band. listen to/watch/read their interviews. They want to be kept away from the genre of "christian" music.

  • you could also go up to someone who speaks to spirits and (if they're not a fraud) they will tell you that they can sense your spirit being calm and protected by a bigger force. The Bible said that even demons tremble when hearing of the Father's name! If dark spirits know the awesomeness of God, then so do their followers. I have a teacher that said her neighbor speaks to spirits, and her neighbor told her that they cannot be together long because her spirit feels uncomfortble around my teacher

  • @0657Gonere yea thats true, i heard a story from a man that said when he went to his native country, he was missionary child, a doctor told him his spirits screamed in protest and told him that he needed to make the man go or they would leave him. but why are you telling that stuff about needing to listen to God to me? and the reincarnate thing, im christian too :P

  • @eggroast oh wow, i thought you were questioning "what if all Christians are wrong and we really go into the ground? ok, nm...

  • no i was restating his point :P

  • @eggroast and onegirlrevolution i am a christian as well and i find it very ironic that the world has gotton so bad that we're discussing the truths of God over posts on Youtube to posts on a christian song! please tell me your feelings on that! [luvz alwayz

  • @onegirlrevolution, i know, but we will be perfect when we get to heaven

  • thumbsupthumbsupthumbsup :)

  • @eggroast It's kind of difficult to go to a place you already are at isn't it? haha Heaven is here there is no other place. Heaven is now there is no other time. We are in Heaven my dear friend.

  • @moonphoenixbrad so not true

  • @maddierocksfilm If a cat believed he were a dog, does that make it true?

  • @moonphoenixbrad well, if you think so, you're in for a treat then =D

  • @moonphoenixbrad if this world is heaven, then heaven sucks.

and these random comments r really distracting.

thanks dude for posting this song : ) it sucks that everyone has to get into a stupid debate over religion all the time. but everyone has a right to believe watever they want, i believe we were given FREE CHOICE. so...yea...enjoy this wonderful song ^^

  • @moonphoenixbrad if this is heaven. there is no hope for mankind, and it is a sad heaven. a dispicable heaven. this is closer to hell than heaven, i dont believe this is the heaven God has promised, but hey i can respect that, your just a little mislead, and im ok with that,

  • @eggroast It doesn't matter what you think. It doesn't change the Truth. Heaven is here there is no other place, Heaven is now there is no other time. And I would appreciate it if you would not make judgments about me, lest you be as misLED as you think I am. Bug off. If you think you know what you're talking about you're a fool. My parents always taught me to shut my mouth if I didn't understand what people are talking about. This isn't heaven because of all the doubtful un-believers, like you.

  • @moonphoenixbrad it isnt heaven, exactly my point but wait, didnt you just say it was...then again say it wasnt?

  • @moonphoenixbrad how can you look at all the war, the murder, the rape, the drug abuse, the lying, cheating, slander, and death and think that this is heaven? open your clouded eyes and see that this is earth. this is no heaven. there is still wrong, and imperfection, if this is heaven then i would appreciate a murderer visiting me tonight, because then i would have no hope left, for God and perfection, because if this is the future he gives us, then he must not love us

  • @eggroast God shall always love us no madder what. but as you can recall in the bible. the kingdom of heaven shall be here on earth. and also that earth now is probably the first step of the end to us. then the day with jesus christ shall return and save all of us and all be descending up.

  • It's funny how the internet is pre-dominantly atheist even on christian videos

  • I love this song and for some reason a bit U2-ish XD

  • how does this sound like U2???

  • @chris71388 I dont mean it as a bad thing, I love this song I just mean their references to religion is similar to U2. Also the bassline reminds me alittle of one of U2's song. That's all.

  • whats U2??

  • switchfootluver96 look it up...

u2MacPhisto09 I agree i supose the baseline is pretty cool. I thought you meant the voice lol

  • All that stuff ya say about trinity?? Yoú don't even know that, see you guys are the ones that´'s completly what other people tell you, whitout checking it for YOURself. And as for shaziluk? I seems like you haven't read the bibel too, since you say that. And I don't think that you've asked EVERY christian, if they could explain trinity. And I could turn this around, and make you explain "big bang".. But I won't, 'cause I know you can't answer.

It's called faith, ya know? that your answer!

  • _nice...

  • this song is cool..but there is a trinity, how cood u be christian and not believe that..WOW

  • Christians just want to share the story of Christ. If you read the bible; intensely, you will find that the words are true. Once you realize, you cannot NOT believe! Praise you Lord, praise your Son...thank you for godly men like Switchfoot who now how to put out positive messages through music.

  • Check the history if you must! Christanity was totally redone by Constantine, the concept of trinity is nowhere mentioned in the bible and the verses they refer cant be clear. And besides it doesnot make sense and no christain has ever been able to sensefully explain trinity!

The only sect that makes some sense is the Juhava witness, their faith makes much sense, although i am not one of them but they make sense.

  • Thanks, its good to know that some people know that trinity is not real.

  • For the record I'm an athiest- before I delve into Shaziluks- quite simple "wtf".

If you can find a Bible that is NOT the "King James" edition or even one that is written and authenticized prior to its entry into Rome and the Apostle Johns' chruch. You, sir, have a piece of lost treasure, holy writ in essence.

I presume you don't- so, your "trinity" theory is as solid as theirs. Faith-based.

Cille is right. Its all Faith- the bits that are history. You managed to confuse. Smooth.

  • I find it slightly ironic that you belittled the big bang by telling me to "look around me" but then referred to the creation that christianity is based on, to a pocketwatch. For the record, I never said I believed in the Big Bang nor Evolution, both have huuge gaping holes. Charles Darwin might have pointed that out, but that was still a theoretical statement, based solely on the idea that his idea, was right. Much like you and your religion, basing your beliefs and ideology on the idea that

  • well the pocketwatch isnt proof of christianity, just proof of how far fetched the idea of everything just happening is, again just sayin, not goin anywhere with it

  • you're right. Its a fairly flawed point of view wouldn't you say? Now, I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying you're not completely right- without evidence, you and I can argue this until the end of time, won't make a difference. Below I was just pointing out that the Bible's historical connections were faulty at best in many places incongruent with actual fact... I'm not sure where you got the idea that I believed in Evolution or the Big Bang, but I don't. Its as improbable as religion.

  • bleed, i thought athiest was evolution n stuff :O?

  • No no, athiest simply means a lack of belief in God. It doesn't supply an answer, merely poses a question. At least, thats how I look at the ideology.

Atheism is another way to look at it, not following the science of "the Big Bang" or "Evolution", necessarily, some athiests do believe that. Others, like myself, ask the question, "What if everyones wrong"

I don't have a definitive answer, noone does. It's just an ideology. Like religion.

  • im Christian so i dont entirely agree..but questions are good, youre right. there are no definite answers. even though we dont think alike, i Really appreciate that youre not just bashing everything you dont belive. i wish all the rude people on here were like you. thanks for respecting others and staying polite.=)

  • well yeah not starting an argument here, well not trying to, just posing another question, what if everyones wrong? if we all go into the ground why does it matter at all if everyones wrong. and if we all go into the ground why are evolutionists and athiests constantly on the attack of christianity? why not leave well enough alone.(not lumping you into that group)

  • i can guarentee that we don't go into the ground or become reincarnated into an animal or something... first of all, i know my christ, which is more than knowing about him. If you grow a strong relationship, you can actually hear him sometimes in your head if you just listen. sometimes, he speaks through Scripture, sometimes, it's through other people. But, you just have to listen!!!!!!

  • actualy i do have some proof to things in the bible, such as the myo tribe of south east asia, who have never been reached with the gospel, and yet they know the whole stoory of the Ark and the Flood, somewhat flawd, over course, because its been thousands of years, andthey also, in weddings, recite their family heritage all the way back to patriarch dirt(adam) to find if they are relatd in any way, they call him dirt because the bible says that man was made from the dust of the earth,

  • Fair enough, I don't care to tell you the truth, I believe everyone has the right to believe anything they so choose, it really doesn't matter at the end of the day (personally).

But thats kinda a flawed proof, whose to say its never been reached by the Gospel? Christianity had a 1000 years of crusading and "spreading the word" most of which is undocumented and hazy at best. Besides that, the christian invasion of Japan and parts of East China could easily have spread farther south than any of

  • actualy said invasion was by catholics, called crusades, and they were a corrupt catholosiscm to begin with, even though now its corrupt also... so they never reached them with the gospel, if they reached them it was with catholosiscm,

  • us might initially guess. There is no actual proof that they've never heard the "word of god". On top of that, the Flood was written initially in the Jewish Bible, the Torah, because essentially the Old Testament IS the Torah- for all intents and purposes. So maybe the Jews got it right all along? That, is NOT christ-even remotely. That'd be Moses and a whole slew of other folks.

Either way you can't prove that truth one way or the other. Inconclusive. Like everything else.

    Why do atheists and

  • the jews Torah ended at the new testament, furthered by converted jews, and it wasnt initialy written in the jewish bible, it was initialy written in a book, not a bible by, i think it was moses, or noah,

  • its your party.

  • why are yous making christianity sound out to be so complicated! It's a simple faith "child like faith" therefore even a child can understand it!

  • not making christianity out to be complicated, but God, God is complicated

  • @mattykarl idk if i already sent a reply to this, but not tryin to make it sound complicated, but the war that is waged between God and the devil is complicated, and unfortunately people have began to question, and we need to be more clever, so as to combat their questions and comments, and answer them, the devil is a tricky, clever fiend that we fight, and you are very right, it is not complicated, when you get down to it "God loves us and wants us to be with him, now he provived a way to"

  • @eggroast yes he did it says in john 3:16 that god sent his only begotten son to die on this earth for our sins and whosoever belveth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life.

  • ok if you don't believe in God, and you don't believe in evolution and the big bang, then how do you explain how the universe started?

  • rest of the christianity was always manipulated by the Popes and churches politically. read the history a bit more you will see for yourself and its the research done by christian historians!

  • @msljyoung boooooooooooooooo

  • @msljyoung

no doubt the bibles got a few good messages in it, but so has all the holy books in the world. Once you realise that things like the Haiti earthquake and the boxing day tsunami how can you stand by and say "yeah that was justified, God is great!"

I just don't understand how people can still believe in things that are based on absolutely no proof at all, all the time things like evolution the creation of life in a science lab are slowly grinding away at your beliefs.

  • @CheifChaz1 We Still Belive because we know that God Is real. His spirit is in all christians and As christians we feel it. But The reason for "the haiti and earthquake" and other distasters is because God humble's people who need it. Haiti was deep in voodism, and false cultures, so thats why i believe it happened.
