Prevention of food entering means starvation of the citizen inside the blokade. Thats pretty scary.

Gaza and Israel are under a state of war. The blockade was legal under Oslo. Many on the ships were screaming "kill the Jews" and spoke about martyrdom. This was provocation and planned. Turkey was aware of the blockade, yet proceeded to approve the fleet's agenda. Note: They didn't go via Egypt, that nation is blockading Gaza too! Their Muslim brothers would have shot them all. Instead they wanted to get turned back by the Jews...to create an international incident-the purpose of it all.

That could indicate that the illegal opperation was planned in detail for quite some time. Egypt didnt kill 9 people on a merchant vessel in international seas. @HeadofIbis i looked at the pictuers of the weaponds they look more like knifes used for making food. There where 600 of them thats a lot of food hense knifes for several chefs. Krowbars, clubs and chains would be natural equipment on boats that size. SInce clubs can be any form of maintanance equipment. Molotov coktails are empty bottles of petrol. Israel has an horrible track record for human rights, the crew would naturally be afraid for their lives, and would naturally defend themselves.

According to the information given the israeli opperation was illegal under international law, and gives the crew the right to defend its cargo.

Boarding would be legit under section A of 67. That would mean 2 things. 1. Gaza is officially under a blokade. 2, Israel has adopted an official policy of starving the citizens of Gaza, hens boarding the ship to prevent contraband to enter the blokade. The ship has been searched by Turkish authority to be holding humanitarian aid. That means that the contraband prevented is Humanitarian Aid. Prevention of food entering means starvation of the citizen inside the blokade. Thats pretty scary.

True humanitarians would recognize the need to be objective, not subjective by denying the Shalit's families request to deliver a package and letter to Gilad Shalit. True peace advocates would publicly recognize the need for Hamas et al, to reject violence and disarm militants. Why would any government of the world accept a neighbor that routinely fires rockets into its territory, publicly calls for their murder, and tries to carries out its implied threats.

Nevermind found statistics. Still it's 0.52ton per person. Out of that ~ 200g of food per person per day. But why are these statistics interspersed with passive aggressive mentions about "but I promise, it's not a siege!" and reports of sending in vital equipment is mentioned as if it was amazing good will when it should be a minimum. It's amazing that MFA doesn't realize this are signs of victimization issues - and makes it seem fake. I hope the best but I can't be but skeptic.
