Check out tlzone.net and tlplanet.com. The differences are not just the fairings, everything is different: the frame, fork and swingarm, suspension, engine, exhaust system, brakes, ECU you name it.
Both RSV and TLR are suited for tall riders, TLR probably even better, more room between the seat and clippon's. RSV has great brakes. Problem with the TLR is that if you want equal performance as far as handling you need to upgrade the suspension over the stock suspension, this makes a big difference, or buy one that has the upgrades. Also the TLR can have electrical problems which are usually solved easily, plenty of modifications of all kinds available on both TLZone.net and TLplanet.com.
Ok, so which do you prefer, RSV or TLR? I've already outruled VTR 1000 SP's bceause they are too pricey...I heard that RSV's are more suited for tall riders, but that they develop problems with electronics over time...haven't heard anything bad about a TLR....except that the front wheel tends to get very light during acceleration and through corners, any advice? (advice from a rider, not from someone who's been reading on the internet but hasn't even been on a 2 wheeler....)
I blame the engineers at Suzuki. Its only when you go flat out to the red zone that you get that addictive airbox growl! It´s the same with my 97 750. This one just sounds even better! Cause its a V-twin!
thanks for the vid man and thanks for not puttung music, can listen to that roar of vtwin beatifull,But noone can see whats around a corner man the guy in front had a close 1 try stay in your own lane more fun and safer its not about your life its the innocent person you might take with ya,Thanks for the vid stay safe
i saw no skill here whatsoever, any idiot can go fast in a straight line, and pinching road is not a sign of skill, it proves that they cannot hold their line correctly. lets really see what they can do on a tight road and keping witin their lane. this sort of riding is stupid and best saved for an oval track!!! i have to say i agree with bad employee, this is simply point and squirt !!
Many thinks cant happen when we ride fast.. but i guess o was making the video knows how to drive and know the rode really well they puch when they fell they can .! the era off kamikases its passed... i have one question are your bike the tlr faster than the rsv mille? talk about two points.. 1- acelaration from target to target.. and top speed? thanks ride whith openn eyes
I dunno. It seems hard to believe that he maxed it out on that little road. I have gone (indicated) 178 on my Tiller on the highway and couldn't imagine that he did it on that road with turns aplenty.....
pure rockin, jumped from a gixxer 6 to a tiller, pure Warp Speed Mr. Sulu, night and day he he he,not much difference between the rsv and the tiller! u even get respect from blades dukes an r1's. as for the other comments- it's Obvious they must know the road like the back o th8r hands and no plod's about ya bunch a fannies- think about it, well done lads.
I get TL1000R just a last sunday! This is my first road bike (before I had couple of off road bikes and now I have YZ250) .This is realy fast bike and not easy to drive ,but i love it,because is so much diferent than rest of Jap bikes!
two great big ass idiots.........who cares if they could see far into the vanishing point or not thats not the point people who are not as experienced will think that this is the propper way to ride.. lead by example. thats a complex thought for most.....i know i know.....
@bademployee : i really dont think people who are not as experienced will click on a video titled ''TL1000R RSV1000 to the limit...FAST!!!'' with expectations of proper riding instruction. Get off your fucking pulpit, dick.
@baotianboy there comes a time in everyones life where they become a teacher. even if u dont want the job inexperienced riders will watch and assume unless someone takes the time and explain. no pulpit..and my name aint dick. i hope the young males that u know either in your fam or not are instructed properly when it comes to handling these powerful machines....i KNOW what loss feels like
@bademployee - I'm sure you're not the only one who knows what loss feels like. If you're referring to motorbikes, then how the hell have you ended up watching this video. I'm sick of people coming on YouTube, whining about this and that using it as a stage from which to morally downtalk others. It's laughable. So stop crying in the corner about all the horrid videos you don't approve of and giving us your views. I'm sure most people here couldn't give a FUCK. I certainly don't. Dick.
@baotianboy ......fuck it.......somebodys got to be an example....why not you then. I really hope you DONT die in a crash where excess speed was the cause.....but if you do ...that would make a great lesson for the less... "talented"
@bademployee : At the end of the day, people use YouTube to upload videos of themselves doing stupid things a lot of the time. You can go on every one of 'em and tell them that riding fast = death and no one will thank you for it. All I'm saying is if you dont want to watch people going fast, don't watch and berate videos called ''TL1000R RSV1000 to the limit...FAST!!!'' and the like. Bikes are fast and exciting, people will go fast. All the fatherly YouTube figures in the world can change it.
@bademployee always some dick going on about the evils of speed & public roads. speed limits haven't changed n kept pace w/tech. jeez, my mini cooper feels dead at 70, let alone my sd990. ride you harley as slow as you want, n never let you front wheel off the ground. at least yer friend died having fun, n he's in a better place now, where he can ride as fast as he wants with no weenies tellin him to slow down. lighten up, dude...
so how can you comment that they're idiots, the thing is they are both experienced riders and able to change the line when needed. the camera dont show how far the bend extends into the vanishing point.
