My thoughts on each of the King's and Space Quest games: KQ1: Okay. KQ2: Never bothered to play it. KQ3: SO... ANNOYING... KQ4: The best in the series since the beginning. KQ5: Never bothered to play it. KQ6: The best in the series, despite my bias against VGA games. KQ7: Meh. KQ8: Shouldn't exist. SQ1: Really good. SQ2: Even better. SQ3: Funny, and good, but the Robots fight at the end is JUST IMPOSSIBLE. And I never bothered to play the VGA Space Quest games.
@TheArtGamer061 If you've watched my videos, then you know I do not agree. :)
KQ6 is the best in the series, followed by 3 (never played 8). SQ4 and 5 are by far the best. And the robot fight in SQ3 is actually really easy: just stand still and hit when your opponent comes close, basically.
@Dilandau3000 For some reason there's horrible lag on my punches and blocks in the robot fight in SQ3, that's why it's so hard for me. I can't exactly disagree with you because of that, though.
@marquis0r Basically, yes. I'm using ScummVM to play this game, which emulates the IBM PCjr sound system, which gives identical results to the Tandy emulation option in DOSBox.
Oh thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, I was going crazy waiting for you to start your next LP. I was even thinking of (gasp) watching someone else's LP, lol. Good to have you back.
I first remember playing this at my uncle's house around 1988 on his Amiga computer. I was about 7. I didn't really know what I was doing, but I enjoyed walking around and typing random things.

Cooking and Cleaning with Gwydion, the new hit show!
And I second that his half-assed clean is still much better than Roger's no-assed cleaning, lol.
But yeah, the stringent timing and rules with Manannan make this game look like one of the toughest. He's such a mean old wizard.

This video makes me feel nostalgic.
I remember playing this game a lot while I lived at my dad's place, during the 1990s.

Though it might be half-assed, I'd say Gwydion's cleaning was more thorough what we've seen Roger do.
