Instead of arguing about who's better or not, the bottom line is that Dream Theater, Opeth and Riverside all are great, awesome bands. IMO, all DT is good, even the new stuff. You're giving Kevin Moore way too much credit for their first few albums-he really doesn't have alot of input on Awake anyway.

The fact that they sold out once they started releasing albums like Six Degrees and Train of Thought and the fact there singer sucks now doesn't help them any.

^These three DT albums, their first three, are all amazing.

But the album Metropolis Part 2 and the EP A Change Of Seasons are also both great, DESPITE lacking Kevin Moore.

Everything other than those four albums and that EP has sucked, with the exception of maybe one or two songs an album.
