I have some problems. When Windows xp has copied the setup and i change my bios back to my hard drive, the installation does not continue. Can you help me?

@TechzoneTV are there universal drivers available? I've only ever installed Win7 (an upgrade from Vista) which came with universal drivers. Are there universal drivers available for my disk drive, sound card, WiFi/Ethernet Card etc.

I have done exactley as you described and have a strange problem

when I try to boot up xp i get the message Missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe file please reinstall

Any ideas ?

Have googled looking for the above, reinstalled win xp 2 to the correct partition still get the same message

I HAVE A PROBLEM --> when i formatted my 50 Gb partification during the install, it started loading files, on 39% it told me:

Setup cannot copy the file: setupORG.exe

- to retry, press ENTER

- to skip this file, press ESC

--------random shit tells if i skip then setupt may not complete and some shit-------

- To quit Setup, Presss F3

When i press enter, nothing happends, when i skip the file, it finishes loading files but after restarting - 2nd part of setup wont work, just an black screen:

when my windows xp professional setup starts, it does not show the hard disk drives. as in ur case @8:25 instead it shows only the pendrive. it shows the pen drive as C: drive. PLEASE HELP!

To you guys that miss the HDD partitions in the install, google nLite to intergrate HDD SATA drivers for your netbook (or search for the HDD name and SATA driver). XP Doesn't have those.. Used about total 10 hours to do this, and my XP crashed week after... Now I'm trying again :)

dude you got to put your partition to be reformat, not in the drive C: because that drive have windows 7 on it and before you format the drive the option is remember the manage you showed me at the computer?? it shows a drive letter remember that i bet it will work. anyway thanks for the tutorials. uhmm could you help me with my flash drive i put an OS on it(Google chrome) using the disk imager, now its hard for me to bring it back to its original size, though i reformatted in command prompt.!

@TechzoneTV I had to choose the "Second Part of Windows XP setup" instead of the internal HDD, because if i chose the HDD, I will get a message windows could not load because of some hard drive fault. But still... I LOVE YOU MAN! (not in thaaat way :p) My netbook brings back the old XP memories, while it's so fast that I can't even see the the Internet Explorer button being pressed down until Internet Explorer pops up :D
