yeah so I decided to strip the bike. I ripped off all the plastics after I bought a brand new bike. This bike is just going to be track/stunt. so far i did some rewiring changed the tail to a smaller one. Even though its going to be a stunt bike i'm gunna still make it look good.. i'll post a video once i finish it....
nice interceptor man...mines bone stock....the half way look with the fairing off , the new nose piece and the new tail piece on...THATS where it looks the best...its got a nice streetfighter look to it...real mean....wuddnt have slapped the ole smokin joes on there...wudda kept her lookin mean lol
Nice Work!! Now what did you do to fit the f2 fairing and headlight?? Wheres the the new vid.? what kind of can is on there and what does it sound like? Thx
lol its pretty rough my bike is still not 100%.. i just bought some racing fiberglass fairings and worked my ass off trying to make them fit. but in the end looks pretty good.
wow thats awesome, thats the kinda facelift my interceptor needs, so far all i have done is repaint it, and tune it up, how hard was it to fit the racing tail and fairings? and where would someone get them?
thanks a lot.. yeah when i got the bike most of the plastics were broken or cracked because it was dropped and probably used to stunt.. but i guess i can't complain because i did get the bike free... but so far i have done basic mechanical work and A LOT of custom body work.. hopefully it will be done by the summer.. and I'll have a new video up.. if you have any suggestions let me know
Wow! Very nice video. I own an '85 VF500F myself. Though, the original owner left it BONE stock and took real good care of it, no cracked plastics or dents anywhere (until I got to it, anyway). Very nice job!
