Let's all do the math....Van graduated in 2002 after 7 years, therefore freshmen year was 1994-1995, in the final "battle" scene when the ROTC Commander is threatening Van, Van sarcastically looks up saying, "Hmm? Sorry, I was texting", he looks up from his iPhone??!!!!??!!! Texting - created in 1992...fair enough. The iPhone - on the market, January 2007, 12 years later. haha Not to mention the 2009 music, hair & clothing styles for "1995". Actually, this coulda been a good retro movie.

A major problem with the plot of this movie. In the first TRUE Van Wilder movie, it was said that Van did not come out his shell until his sophomore year which it was when he got advice by a friend wrote for the school paper, Light VS. Dark Beer the Showdown.

So, this movie sucks from just seeing this trailer alone.
