sorry, British person not understanding american...*feels slightly thick but asks anyway* so a college is an American word for University, right? Or is it Sixth Form College?? so confused....:(
I hate the books and how you had to buy them for every class and can't return them just cuz after the semester they made the same book with minor changes and sell it as a new edition. Also I hate how you are require to buy them at the book store when there's the freaking library in the same building which is where books are suppose to be. Books are suppose to be checked, not bought. Knowing that will never change, college to me will forever be a freaking ripoff.
@helpvidz fastweb.com is probably the best site that i've found that has all sorts of differenr scholarships also just be using google you can find some

In hind sight I would get a job out of high school in a trade and start making money and building wealth. Follow the 70/30 principle. Spend only 70 percent of what you make. Give 10% away, save 10% for education in building wealth, and 10% strictly for investment. Once you build some wealth and decide you want a degree you will have no problem paying for it.
after 4 years of college... and a 3 year J.D. degree... I thank FUCK that I am out of this HELL-HOLE!... These retards are either freshers, or straight up impaired individuals... college does nothing but put u into huge piles of debt, hence, a bad credit rating, hence, lack of job prospect, hence, a messed up life, hence, a will to commit suicide... become IN-valuable towards society... become an entrepeneur... make something of yourself... market YOURself...
wonder how much debt these students are in. I also wonder if any of these students have half-decent jobs. This was shot probably before the recession officially begun. Wonder what these students are doing now, collecting welfare checks?
**Never in America's history have we had, until now, such an anti capitalism President and an Administration filled with so many misfits, liars, incompetents, tax cheats, marxists, radicals & big government despots.

this is about the most fake video i've ever seen. Let's face it college is high school pt. 2. this is pure propaganda from from a corrupt system that offers you nothing and leaves you a depressed alcoholic at the other end, don't waste your time trust me... google it if you don't believe me. Oh and what you bring freshman year is irrelevant. Thanks capitalism.... NOT
Generic video, college is different for every1, ur not gonna know till u get there. They forgot to mention a shit load of people transfer out after 1st semester, u gotta LOVE not like where ur at. If u take a tour dont get sold by the guide. As for money, if u can do the same thing fo a lot less somewhere else, do it. Im gonna owe $60,000 in loans after 4yrs when i coulda paid $18,000 somewhere else. If u got relatives who went 2 college, take their advice...I wish I did, good luck.
2) It's not all about your GPA. You can get a good GPA, but not be passionate about what you're doing and not learn how to apply or grow from most of the things you've learned. I know a few bitter professors (a couple of which are english/literature profs) who recommend not going that route unless you really enjoy it. I think this is because of the resentment they have for doing something that they never really felt a large degree of passion for.
1) It's not about being well-rounded, it's about gaining experience and showing passion for multiple specific things, like a passion for what you are studying and want to do afterwards and a passion for helping out in your community.
