  • You wouldnt see a flash of the actual impact with the onboard cameras.  Obviously because they would be destroyed at that very moment.

  • True, but what's strange about the impact was that just prior to contact it appeared to be a "dirt" landing -as opposed to collision with a hard object- from the momentary gray before LOS but the amount of ejecta seen was still disappointing..

    Anyway, back to the point, you can glean a small bit of useful data from the camera the moment just before it is smashed to bits... Obviously after that its useless, :3

  • ROFL, adorable. and as one of the first to comment, I'm proud to say that that cat knows more than most of any humans know about the impact because there are NO IMAGES ONLINE yet other than these screen shot videos
