  • Awesome *-* I just wanna dance while listening to this tesla coil music

  • omg wow O.o

  • Hooooww??????

  • thewii552 not Marscanam...... Sorry about that

  • so the simple way of saying the type of hertz is related to the type of wavelength in sound, and when you use multipul hertz or "notes" put together you get music or a bunch of sounds.

Just adding a little something what Marscanam said for better understanding. Hope it helps :)

  • mega clear sound :)

  • Caution...High Voltage :|

  • this is awesome thank you science

  • So awesome! :D

  • Marscanam.... Dude you Got Thats Line from a movie:) not so cool now....

  • @manboobsdk I don't think my science would tell lies

  • clear Sound... anyway. Thumbs up :D

  • Wonder what the electric bill is ? :P hahahahahahahaha

  • muahhahahahahaah

  • yea first thumb down

  • What is making the music and how is it? :0?

  • @hiydra012 The coil itself; Similar sound physics to lightning, except caged and lasts longer. And not nearly as loud.

  • @hiydra012 The Tesla Coil is vibrating I think.

  • @hiydra012 The coil is firing at such high frequency that the sparks literally create soundwaves as the fly trought the air.

  • @MARSCANAM 2 things:

you got that incorrect statement from a movie

and 2 you were wrong. The arcs heat the air causing it to expand. This causes waves at whatever frequency the coil is being switched on and off at-that is how we get the music.

  • @thewii552 Sounds complicated.

  • @thewii552 I dont think my science teacher would tell lies.

  • @MARSCANAM well he/she did...

  • KRAFTWERK COIL

  • Is that plasma that I see around 1:30?

  • @RoboticProgrammer it's plasma throughout the whole song... that's what lightning and other static bolts are :D

  • It seems the background is too bright to capture the low frequency bolts. Though, pretty curious to see what that would look like on a scope... sounds like pretty much a saw wave, and that is pretty clean.

  • Very nice version of popcorn for the DRSSTC. Very good MIDI. :D

I'll have to work on mine a bit...

  • Excellent work, nicely done! Kepp it up! ;-)

  • Great vid, Great song. how much would it cost to buy one of those?

  • @DrDevVo you can build one but its hard very hard but to buy one your looking at a couple grand of 1 like that

  • @DrDevVo Go to Uni, Study Physics and learn to build one, otherwise it'l set you back a few grand and you'll lack the knowledge how to use it ;-)

  • i seen other versions of popcorn from tesla coils but this is by the far the cleanest ive seen and heard, good job guys and keep it up

  • Du sku dygtig Daniel :D Savner og se alle de ting du lavede på arbejdet :D:D

  • Wow, I did not expect that from a tesla coil, very nice experiment!

  • NICE!
