Most managers in the Premiership are disgusted by the way Megson was treated and will now try extra hard to beat the trotters. Fans who turn against their club ultimately get what they deserve. I am not a fan of Megson, but he was given no chance by the fans or the board. He was given very little, if any money. The board have made a bad decision due to the pressure of the fans. The fans protested against the style of play but how else do they want Davies, McCann, Cohen etc to play. You can't tell them to play like Xavi and Iniesta. So what is Coyle going to do? He's not that good a coach that he can turn Davies into Drogba. They will be relegated.

Well I happen to think Owen Coyle is a very good manager, and if given the time he may well get Bolton back into the top half.

As for Megson, he did a lot better than Sammy Lee, but 2 years is a decent amount of time in this day and age, and the club were going backwards. The style of football yeh, Megson didn't have much to work with, but for me his biggest fault by a mile was arse licking the opposition. That just isn't what you want your manager to do.

Anyway, i think he will get better at being a manager. Although you can flood a midfield with only defensive midfielders. Dont know what the fuck that is. You need some outlet to take pressure off the defence and the ability to take the ball up the field. But, like I said things are looking up at the moment, you should build on it!
