  • arms are too stiff :3

  • Filin96- wait to be a mean person if u don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all..........

  • There is so much wrong with this...

  • That poor student, those tragic feet.

  • I wonder how expert village screens the people who apply to make videos for them.

  • oh lord. turnout, have you heard of it?

  • @ADGDAREN Hi! Yes that was horrible I used to dance ballet too, but I stopped and that was a terrible mistake :( now I am trying to resume but I don't find any good place, can you advise me one? ( Where do u live?)

  • are they really that bad? haha

do you know about any video that's good?(:

  • beautiful 3rd position lololol

  • okay I couldn't see your movements under all the clothing! your supposed to wear a leotard and tights. thats it. not sweatshirts or shirts. maybe a little skirt but not even below your thighs. sigh I wish they would certify professionals

sorry but this is terrible keep working at it though

  • @DAisbetter stop raping your . key

  • @MrsAwesome2016 lol I like how you put that

  • This is NOT a passe. I showed this to my dance teacher, and shes like last time I checked that "professional" has NO CLUE what shes doing.

  • this is horrible!!!!!

  • one of the worst ever!!! she's not wearing proper leotards, her thumb sticks out constantly, she's gripping the bar like a lifeline and sh'es going through the petit battment position while going down; it should go through demi pointe instead. sure, of course she's an "expert"

  • And it's retiré passé. If he working leg didn't "pass" (geddit: passé?) from front to back, it would simply be "retiré." Even if the technique & teaching is dire, they could at least give the correct terminology !

  • Out of all the things wrong with this video, the gripping of the barre bugs me the most. No wonder she's so shakey! She hasn't built up any strength!

To all the new dancers, please keep a light touch on the barre by pressing your index and ring finger (again, lightly) onto the barre. Do not hold onto it like a stripper pole, like this "expert" does.

  • very difficult ^^

  • please remove this terrrrrrible video!

  • if they rlly want to explain they focus on the movements but nobody culd some dang movement under them clothes!

  • eeek

  • 0:35, 0:13, can i know that possition cus thats not a good third!

  • nice supporting leg, cos thats turned out. :S

    haha

  • again, turn out supporting leg "expert" teacher.

  • wow. she's terrible. and really stiff...and she needs to wear proper ballet clothes!

  • expert instructor..uh oh...

if this is what they consider "expert", im afraid to see what the beginners look like, let alone what there being taught by these people...

  • I can answer that question... all the good teachers left.

ahahhaha I cannot believe this woman is still in business. she was the worst teacher ever who ran a recital factory... and Im not the only one who thought so.. OMG shes embarressing herself.. the fact that she is using the best dancer she has, and thinks that what she is doing looks great.. goes to show why so many of her students were injured.

  • Am I allowed to relate this to Highland Dancing? I don't want my head bitten off by agry Ballet Dancers. But my point (no pun intended) is that it's very similar to shedding (the first step of the Highland Fling).

oooh! How do you do it on half-pointe? You do half-pointe in Highland Dancing mostly in Pa De Bas.

  • what happened to wrapping the foot around the ankle and keeping it connected to the leg during passe? not to mention that her turnout is really not that great. i worry for the kids this "expert" teacher is in charge of...

  • She should work more through the foot.

  • not technically correct

  • nice, lol I used to go to ballet in 4th & 3rd grade. (know im in 7th) Those were the good ol days. Thanks this reminded me alot of it.

  • I'm sorry, but I couldn't see the movement underneath the baggy clothes.

  • agreed

  • I absolutely agree! Why are t-shirts being worn when doing classical ballet if you can call that classical ballet at all.

  • You can wear T-shirts to warm up in ballet class.

  • Some studios are lenient when it comes to attire, especially for warm-ups. But they still need to be able to see your form. This outfit is too baggy.
