    - the Bergman

  • jesus someone on youtube who knows how to mic and mix drums...

  • i loveee youreee drumsett meennnn!

  • Gnarly funk beats.

  • How Did You Get The Dark Corners On Your Camera ?

  • He Used A Different Lens I'm Sure.

    Haha...

  • damn good

  • how long have you been playing?

  • wow its kind of creepy how much you play like me. we have almost the exact same style.

  • Damn good use of dynamics dude. Real stylish playing.

  • the drum sound was a little week or u compressed it too much or something but the playing was nice even though u took your sweet time getting into the groove and didnt really stay in it for very long

  • nice skills and so as the set

  • i want thata snare :)

  • ur mics r a little far over the toms

    don't u ever hit them?

  • wot settings for compression is on the mixer on for the tom toms?

    nice btw

  • i think he needs to take all the compression off and eq everything but the snare. the toms and bass sound like garbage

  • Awesome kit man - DW's excellent choice...If i'm not mistaken... Correct me if i'm wrong but... I see some Terry Bozzio in your style...?

  • ha actually im not THAT much of a bozzio fan... of course he is very very good, anyone that denies that is a tard. still im not that much for his style.

  • i like how you do off-beat snare hits.... keep it up

  • sounds great, good tuning./

  • r u using normal mics or drum mics

  • nice tunage, but wats with these dudes that only use two toms, i tried it and it fucked up my count

  • your drums are beautifully tuned

  • yeah not bad

like the snare tho. floor tom doesnt sound as good as it should.

work on your timing bro. ever thought about playing with a klicktrack or metronome.

takes you to another level and makes you sound even tighter.

sorry for my bad english im german(word)

keep up the good work. and remember drummers are the most sexiest musicians ever.

  • nice kit

  • i like ur drumming but it wouldnt hurt with some nice beats 2

  • its refreshing to see someone who can play a little these days

  • definitely.

good job man, keep up the nice work.

  • I liked it,but you look so tense.

    maybe that was just me.

    Nice job.

  • I like the way you play!

I have som videos upploaded on my Account!

    Take a look!

    / frongo

  • very very nice, i love the sound of your kit, how'd you make your snare, kick and toms sounds so good, thats just the sound i like!

  • Nice drumming, dude. Floor tom sounds like crap though.

  • yeh nice snare and kit i use the edge snare drum coz i find its more adjustable and snapper

  • nice mate? do you drum professionally? that was really good, how old are you? Are you in a band and what sorta music do you like to play?

  • yo man

    thats sum fine drumming

wat snare do u use cause the=ats just the sound im lookin for

    NIce drumming :)

  • hey, i use a dw collectors series. personally id choose somthin a bit brighter if i had a limitless supply of cash!

  • cool stuff mate, i enjoyed the video! some nice singles around the kit and what not! i'll look for some of your other stuff. take it easy.

Check my roland demo. i'm doin a new one in the next couple of weeks.. it'll be loads loads better, this one is all loose ends really, just a tester to see if i can make a half decent vid! i'll stop rattling on, see what you think.

Stay Cool - Joe Large. Uk

  • you pro??

  • I couldn't tell for sure, but listening it sounded like you weren't running your mics through a compressor. If you do that you'll loose some of your dynamics but you'd be able to mic the whole kit so we can hear the cymbal parts better and not have to worry about the signal clipping. If the dynamics are more important to you you're better off going without the compressor. Good job sir.

  • hey te felicito muy buen sonido! te falta mucho que aprender pero sin duda tenes lo necesario para llegar a ser un batrista de primer nivel felicidades!

  • nice dw kit man

  • hey someone send me a message or reply to my comment on how you get your drums that low with out the screws ratteling

  • it all depends on the drums mate, they arent even tuned that low. and coz the mics are so close there is no bass roll off on the mic. chepaer drums have less of a tuning range than more expensive ones. if your screws are rattling then i can bet your drums sound like the head is ripped. you need a certain amount of tension to get a tone from the drum.

  • hey man

    how you mic it up?

how did you get the mics on to the computer?

and how did you put the sound with the video man?

    nice video :D

    I have the Same Questions

  • hey man

    how you mic it up?

how did you get the mics on to the computer?

and how did you put the sound with the video man?

    nice video :D

  • wow i liek the sound of oyur kit what type is oyur drums and cymbals? v. god rythems to

  • ha i wouldnt go that far mate, but thatnks anyway!

  • very good sound, it has got a bit of thomas Lang

  • "i cant stand people that try play jazz solo sorta thigns n cant do it" If you think that's jazz drumming you ought to listen to more music, and if you think he 'can't' do it, you ought to quit music.

  • Nice work, thats a great sound, and I like the fact that you dont have a ridiculously large kit. Youre one of those guys that just proves you dont need a monster kit to sound or look good drumming. 5*!

  • BALLIN

  • man, i would kill for that equipment. nice solo though

  • great sound! fantastic work

  • rich boy, DW are at least 4000 grand. lol nice solo

  • 4000 grand is 40 million dollars, lol, i know you meant $4000 tho

  • i cant stand people that try play jazz solo sorta thigns n cant do it

  • lets see what you got.

  • I hope some of the 'metal' drummers watch this and get an idea of dynamics. Nice chops buddy.

  • i love it

  • Those white rings around the head allow most of the over tones to be hidden. Also, the heads are tuned very low to make them sound more punchy

  • i love your dynamics man you have them down to a tee

  • cool sound, very easy to watch and damn good playin'. is that a 13" snare? looks kinda small, actually. or maybe it's just the perspective...

  • nice :D

  • YOUR KIT SOUNDS GOOD

  • You are good. I like how you'd go from drum rolls to a nice rhythmic beat

  • nice stick control.

love the sound of your snare too:)

  • what sizes are you using on that vid as ur toms look smallish, as do your cymbols

  • errr nothings that snall mate, toms are 12x8 and 16x16.. smallest cymbals 17". besides the hats anyhoo. maybe looks small coz i used a wide angle lense on my camera. its gettin on for a fish eye.

  • how do people make there toms sound like that

  • hwy man

    nice set

    check out my drum solo

    thnx

  • Love the snare.

I also liek the way you snuck in that double bass in there. =)

  • god damn it where you guys take so fucking great sound:(

  • wow very profesional sounding, good playing, good tuning, and good miking. nice

  • Keep playing Tim, I like your style. You'll go far, don't worry about the mistakes, you'll learn from them.

    BrotherSnare

  • i hate the 2 tom set up thing

  • Tighter than a Nun's rectum... Bravo.

  • People can buy drums kits, any Brand: Slingerland,DW,Sonor, etc. BUT can´t buy talent and feeling...you have it a lot!!!! Congratulations!!!

  • I like how the snare is tuned.

  • Nice clean playing (most of the time) and a good camera view so we can steal all your fills :) Thx man !

  • I REALLY WANT A DW KIT!

  • al fin alguien con buen gusto! good, and just remember: less is more.

  • Good playing, but definitly work on your double strokes,

  • awesome recording. great sound!

  • e602s all the way brother!!! real nice playin, one of the better "bashes" ive heard on youtube, keep it rockin \m/

  • sweet sounding drums, what kind of mic's?

  • You have really, really nice tone dude, I want that kit... with more toms... :)

  • Cool, well done. Nice dynamics and drum sound. They really should start making these rooms big enough to put our drum sets in now. Not everybody just plays guitar! Ha! metalfiend124

  • finally some talent

  • thats good, quality! work on your buzz rolls though

    awesome vid

  • haha agreed my buzz rolls are shite!

  • sounds great....what mics are you using?

  • errrr i use beyerdynamic tgx48's on my toms, its ok for the rack but really doesnt have the low end for a floor... and its massive. sennheiser e602 on the kick, thats quite nice. and a beyerdynamic M422TG on the snare. dont have any overheads, so its quite amazing the cymbals sound ok, spesh since i gated everything to stop the sympathetic ring! anyhoo thanks for the interest x

  • Man, that's some nice shiz, but not as nice as mine... haha

  • kickass who couldnt like it?

  • your drums sounds like smaller bass drums,.. mad,..

  • Those drums sound amazing, nice playing too! Keep it up man!
