Thanks for the post man, i wasn't sure where those snare hits were dropping. Good job on picking it up, like someone said below I think you're the first post on this riff and its probably one of the tougher patterns on the album. Of course you could re-post with that bass mic turned up juuuust a hair. Well done regardless.
Good job man, somebody finally figured this groove out, I've been trying to watch videos of other uploaders and so far, ...you besides Danny got it right, thanks for posting and keep up
I agree, the kick is dull, I think it was more a mic placement issue than blend and balance though..If ya want to see what my hands are doing, ya cant have the camera out front. Thanks for commenting/watching.
nice job, only thing i'd say that needed improvement. Your bass wasn't loud enough, so maybe your hands could have been a little quiter, and the accents could you just a little adjustment, 5/5

@drumagna It's "just" swiss triplets, or am i totally off?

@distubedrat I pretty sure the sticking Danny Carey plays is:
FRLF RLFR LRRL..accent the first left when you get to the LRRL..that is your "backbeat"
Listen for that right hand two beat 1e, a2, +a, e+ with the left nailing the snare on 3 and it should sound correct.
