yup sure it does work but to make sure your waiters wont move try making a double block using tables or chairs so they wont move

I am a serious cafe world player. It does work. Locking in your waiters is KEY to serving fast.

@gamefreaks1011 - I recently restarted my old cafe (spelled out the letters "iQuit" in white tables in the meantime) and found that the arrangement in the video doesn't seem to work, unless there is a serving table or stove blocking the corners that are touching. I mean, it's not enough to have two serving tables or stoves touching corner to corner, but instead to have 3 tables or stoves flat-edge to flat-edge against each other to make a corner, because my cook and servers went between them.

Well, I would place a chair in front of a door when I have no food ready to serve and I'm heading to bed. It's a way to close your diner and keep your buzz at 105.

I know about that.

I have 2 cafes/diners.

1st I'm doin 50's style with glass walls and 2 glass doors. So I've already invested 30k (give or take) in the doors by lvl 18. So I use the chairs.

The 2nd I'm setting up however using the tip in your vid = )

2nd diner is small & can serve 14 patrons

(2nd diner i'm lvl 12 and 25k)

you are an idiot if you have no food take out the doors so you wont make any money but your food will cook still. plus even if there were costumers inside of the cafe when you do this they disapear in thin air

this is great in the beginning of a cafe, but becomes useless at lvl 20~ where it becomes a buzz kill.

@mastela88 - I'm at level 42~ and still using it.. your rating drops when you don't have enough food to serve every day (which can be supplemented between cookings with gifts from neighbors)

when ure food is short just log out. ure buzz rating wont go down and will stay at the rating u logged out with.

when rating is 5-30 its good to use this tactic, but any rating higher and its destructive.

-u can also just remove ure door to stop the flow of ppl.

this doesn't work! DONT TRY IT! i have already tried this and when people come in the waiters skip customers which makes your buzz raiting go down. the waiters will serve on or two cutomers and leave the rest without food

you probably put the tables right next to the wall... if you do that it will only serve two customers on the edges because the waiter needs some space to serve the ones in the middle.

@sheperddog - I almost always reply to questions ^_^ I've only got 1 waiter, even though I can hire 2 more if I need. Since it's so quick, I don't see any need for more than 1 =)

@52reddogs - Not really much that can be done with Farmville, except blocking your little farmer with something, like hay bales, in the way the waiter is blocked by the countertops. Saves you the time from having to walk everywhere. Maybe I can drum up something, though ^_^
