I bought this call at the beginning of last season and I absolutely love it. I've never had problems with it sticking and the call is pure duck. I will say that I enjoy working Buck's Double Nasty when birds are in close but the Spitfire has pulled in birds that prior to owning the call, I wouldn't have even blown at. Another great call by Buck Gardner.

sorry to have to agree with watterfowladdiction... dont like the choice of words however the calls have alot of flaws i too have had bad luck in cold weather three bands came off and one split like a cracked glass... i wouldnt recomend this call to an anti hunter its that bad honest to god truth...
these calls suck!!!! straight up we hunt all over the nothern continent and we have had nothing but problems with this call... the rings fall off Buck Promises you a replacement.. Then the replacement shatters in my hand at 30 degrees... Buck replaces it and now it comes cracked... what a JOKE DONT WASTE YOU MONEY ON THIS COMPANY CAUSE THEY ARE COMPLETELY SHITTY CALLS!!!!!2

@Bamforever94 Ok coming from a fifteen year old that has never probably met the ass hole who owns the company.. and hasnt ever really blown a "good" call haha the only thing that i think this call is good for is a fast moving target to try and hit with a full choke and #2 steel..... When you get the chance to hunt the country like we do you will find if you drop a good call it doesnt shatter at the o-ring... it doesnt expand so much that the damn ring falls into the marsh.... i promise you will
hey i have hunted every state and in Il where i live i have used this call in 20 degree weather and never had my band shatter ever think maybe it was abuse from u alright i have had almost eveycall out ther including all of the RNTs and foiles and zink alright these call have killed more duckss and work better u just want to be negative about him because u trat your gear like shit
@watterfowladdiction i have met buck personally and he is one of the kindest people on the planet. there is no need to call him an ass hole. his callls dont suck but they do need care.
@watterfowladdiction Buck is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He makes some great calls. Yea I had a band slip off of a black acrylic call, but oh well I like it better without it. There are other good calls out there. It's just what ever you like.
i think this call is a little better and more versatile the the sweet meet. im not dogging tim or his calls at all. its just my opinion between the two in question.
Buck's got some great calls, but if you want a higher end call with the same reed and a half feel, I would recommend Tim Ground's Sweet Meat. Great calls. Keep it up Buck!

Great Call....Cant wait to really get it dirty this fall. I recommend this one to any hunter. Can do any sound real well for the price.
