Wonderful video!! I love the song; it goes so well with Ava Gardner because she always seemed to glow on and offscreen. She was a rare and extraordinary woman who both had an obvious and amazing physical beauty, but an internal beauty that was so strong and wonderful to have or to be of company to. Thanks again!
she was lucky to have all those famous actors as her leading men, she was a rare beauty from head to toe, a perfection...you don't see much of that nowadays...
You can freeze/pause any shot in this vid and its poster material. Ava was a very, very, very beautiful statuesque woman!! I never knew before. But I recognize beauty the minute I see it. Ava tugged on something inside of me that grace, ingrid, or lauren didn't do, just by looking at them. Those other women are very beautiful women also. But Ava, appears to be the best!
That was very nice and thank you for making it so I could enjoy it, when I was a little boy the first time I saw Ava Gardner I knew that I like women!! and to this day I think she is the one of most Beautiful Women ever to be in the movies!! Cheers Dano
Was it even possible that anyone could be so incredibly beautiful, and yet natural? I love the scene from "Mogambo" in which Ava is playing with the baby elephant and slips in the mud. Gable said that entire scene was not in the script; impromptu play by Ava and a cameraman caught it. God, she's perfect!
A beautiful tribute to such an underrated actress (like Ms. Monroe, her goddess beauty overshadowed her abilities as an actress). Have you seen ON THE BEACH? She was fantastic in that movie.
What song is this? I know I've heard it somewhere before...

Ava was one of my favorite leading ladies. She was so beautiful and talented and down to earth. I love watching her films.
Thank you for posting this tribute.

Another example of a pure beauty. No botex, no plastic surgery. Looking at todays stars is like taking a tour of a wax museum.

Beautiful, very beautiful woman, I must say. Yet I always feel there's something quite sad about her eyes, something unsaid...

Frank Sinatra never really got over her. Years after their divorce they would still see each other occasionally.
