@WhatN0tT0D0 do u mean Polycentropsis abbreviata, or the Shomburgki, or the leopard bushfish (gourami)? bec. they are entirely diff. from character and feeding than the ones on this video. for me the ones shown on this video are the real leaf fish bec. of their behavior, hunting method, body shape and coloring. the others that fall under the same category as leaf fish arent near camouflage like this one.
@zirchsoft ive had my african spotted leaf fish for about a year and mine are liveley i bout em of a man and ive fed my flake food n mins always eating i love watching my fish ive got 1 silver talking cat fish 2 spotted african leaf fish 1 red tail black shark 1 pleco 1 albino cory 2 bronze corys and 1 kuhli eel ( kuhli loach ) and they get on great 2 gether
do u mean Ctenopoma acutirostre? they are not real leaf fish. there are many called leaf fish, but the real leaf fish is the one above. the one u have is a gourami labyrinth fish, i used to have 3 of them, my brother had one that grew 6inches. they are active and can be trained to accept any food u give them.
I feel bad for the cardinals, but you gotta love a fish so perfectly evolved to hunt them and other small fish

its a fascinating fish but in truth its also a boring fish. it does nothing in the aquarium. it just stands there, almost not swimming, always hiding.
and its almost impossible to feed them with dead food. they prefer life feeds.
i'd rather get a Siamese tiger fish. also vacuum mouth and superb hunter

awesome. You can keep these fish in an aquarium. But theyre pretty hard to look after i think. Would imagine theyre pretty expensive too.
fong182 2 years ago
They are medium price for freshwater fish at about 20 USD and are fairly easy to keep, but they will eat any fish that fit in their mouth
AlexTubed 2 years ago
