Nope. Its either the sound of the Saleen or Vette at 1:45 both of which have the same sized 7.0 V8 engines. The Panoz stopped running at LeMans after 2007.

It's not lit as nobody walks there, just people driving as it's route national which is the 2nd most advanced type of road, no need for lights.

Mostly used by the french for travelling as they have pretty high tolls on the motorway.

Le Mans and back costs us 60 euros per car for french tolls.

another great nite spot is between mulsanne and indianapolis. speeds approach 200 mph near the golf course. course securite will chase you away if they find you there also.

If you have ever been to Le Mans and especially the Mulsanne you will know that the sound the headlights and glowing exhaust pipes at immense speed is what it is all about.You don't have to see the pretty paint job on the car to enjoy it.

Nice. We were up at premier chicane about 4AM. It started raining and all the cars started going off onto the gravel. Two of the Peugoets actually crashed into each other. Nobody seems to have reported it.

Didn't get there numbers I'm afraid as it happenned so quickly. As I remember one went backwards into the gravel and collected the other one near the apex of the turn. There was an audible 'thump' butthey seemed to both get away without major damage.
