  • is tru by pass???

  • IM GLAD I DIDNT BUY THIS!!!

  • what the guitar ?

  • what the riff at 3:48?

    Что за риффы с 3:48?

  • How does this pedal compare with the Metal Muff? They both sound very good to me but which would people recommend?

  • All riffs are improvised ?? :x

  • i like

  • Send me the tabs?

  • ill never understand why anyone would like scooped mids. ah well

  • @FakeFlourescentSkies Amen to that....mid range is where the tone is....

  • Yesterday i record with this pedal. This pedal depends a lot with what amp you use with it. This pedal kill my orange rockerverb 50 dirty chanel!! There was a Huge difference! the pedal give a better organic sound, it was very articulate and with your guitar volume and tone you can do amazing things! Really it blast my dirty rockerverb chanel. Im going to buy it as soon as posible.

  • Visual sound has some really nice pedals.

  • not the greatest playing in the world...doesn't really display what this thing can do. which is unfortunate, cause this isn't a metal zone--yet, it's being advertised as such here

  • THIS???? or the LONDON BONES???

  • get the Jekyll and Hyde. Its this with a modded TS-808 circuit. its a sweet pedal that literally can cover ANY sound you want.

  • sounds just like a shredmaster

  • @simmy403 you shure? it's a clone they don't botter to say it,

  • Only metal with it?

  • this pedal still sucks, buy the original Jeckell and Hyde ver1 pedal... vefore they changed it's look 2 different times.

  • anyone have any idea what the riff at 3:48 is?

  • Micro Metal Muff = better

  • @slashnpraise theyre completely different pedals. you cant compare them

  • albert hammond jr. uses 1 of these!

  • This is incorrect.

They changed nothing between the two, other than the direction of the Mid pot. Sure, there are subtle differences, but that's true of every pedal, no matter what version. It's identical, this coming from someone who's owned both.

  • As someone who also owned both, A/B tested them extensively in front of several other musicians, and as someone local recognized for their ear for tone, they are very different in tonal quality, the new v2 series being far inferior.

  • Bull. Call up Visual Sound and they can run down the specifics with you. The circuit tech is the same - it's just a better, more reliable build.

Your "recognized ear" is fooling you.

  • no they are the same. the diff may be that instead of one tone knob there is a mid and trebel knobs. and plus did you also put into consideration that there are noise suppresors inside? the 2 pedals are different in some ways yes. thus the circut is diff due to the 2 or more pots. but the rest is same. it is an "evolved" animal or devolved one if you care to say so.

  • What you all are failing to understand is that I am not claiming that the circuit is different or that the tonal character is different, I am stating that the tonal QUALITY is far inferior, I am well aware of the circuit and all of the features of both series pedals and I took all of that into account when testing them. The bottom line is in QUALITY and these (like many other popular pedals) are not quality specimens. The nuances have been lost.

  • So wait, the tonal quality is inferior because they used the same parts, but they just put it in a different housing? Ok.. As far as I and science are concerned, that's impossible. Yeah, there are variances between pedals, but that includes every J&H ever made, including the old versions. You can't condemn a whole line of pedals that use THE EXACT SAME CIRCUIT as the old ones. How can a circuit be inferior when it's the same?

People want the old versions because they don't make them anymore.

  • The fact is, if I took a Klon Centaur and put it in the housing of a Behringer pedal, people would say it didn't sound like a Klon and that it sounded liek a cheap $20 pedal. It's all in the looks, I gurantee nobody would be able to tell the difference without seeing them.

  • @patrickisbusy I agree, but Visual Sound pedals have a nice price considering their build quality and extra features like noise reduction and buffer. We can get a Behringer pedal that sounds like boutique but their construction is unreliable, and they are made of plastic. But if people check Behringer green overdrive pedal it sounds like the TS808 clones out there!

  • Nice playing! I'd like to see the mid button getting used more, to hear what it sounds like in low, mid and high settings.

  • what kind of guitar are you playing?

  • it says @ th start =(

  • It's like a recto simulation

    AWESOME!

  • I need a new distortion pedal 'cause my other one broke and looks like ill be picking this one up

  • sick distortion. i love my metal muff, but i think i might have to pick this one up...

  • GREAT!

  • this is my next purchase for sure

  • Wow. amazing.

  • Nice Recto sound!

  • Freaking awsome pedal. that's my next purchase:D

  • I just got one, really it should be your next purchase!!

  • can it pull of the sound for switchfoot and anberlin? I really considering this for my next purchase

  • sure :D

  • can it get the sound of like silverstein or paramore?
