Wonderful voice. Sounds too much like Mariah and her look resembles beyonce. The keyword : ORIGINALITY....Other than that, she has talent. Tamar came out back in the late 90's when good singing went out the window and it was all about "sex sells". I would love for her to make an album now, but it needs to be for the grown and sexy and not the teeny boppers.
Tamar has had a nose job, that is for sure, but as for skin bleaching, hell no. She was always lighter than her siblings... check out young family pictures shown on the new show.
What makes Tamar looks silly now is that she has a bad taste on makeup colours... too much pink, it doesn't suit her at all. When "So Many Ways" came out and here, she sometimes looked about the same colour as Trina and Towanda, but only 'cause she was either bronzing or tanning.

This girl is very talented not only does she sing she has two grammy's for writting #1 hits not only for toni, but Mariah Carey, Keyshia Cole, and fantasia and she has also done backgrounds for those artist as well so before you speak bad of her check her records baby she has pathed the way for MANY just by singin DOO WOOP POP POP for them and now she just wants her time that all and hell with a voice like Jennifer, mariah, Toni, and Deborah mixed in one who wouldnt want to hear her. #BOOOM!

@MyJuice99 i agree and i just started watching braxton family values and i think what's wrong is her attitude towards her sisters. Like i totally understand her wanting to be a solo artist props to her and there i agree 100% with her attitude cause it's more of frustration and i feel exactly the same so i get it, but her attitude sucks and i'm only on the 4th episode of season 1. Remember people will buy into what they see and if i see a nasty attitude that's it for me. But she has a great voice

To me, her vocals are a mix between Toni,Tamar,Deborah Cox etc. She can sing compared 2 autotuned singers. Her bad attitude is what has left a sour taste in the mouth of many would B fans! Its hard 2 tell if that was for the sake of the show ratings or if she would be difficult to work with. All in all, she is no less marketable than alot of singers out there. 4 sum reason we have a problem with RnB that has talent getting the exposure while say Kim K who can't sing, can dub an album...SAD!

when i watch videos by tamar i cant help but wonder how Toni got soo famous and Tamar didnt.. now i see why Tamar is so upset cause if i had a good or even better voice then my sis and she got all the fame i would be a lil tight to lol . but i still think she is happy for her sister . oh yeah about the bleaching she doesnt bleach she wass always light. alwways the lighest & thats why she tans so much so in some videos she look darker..duh

Tamar has the vocal ability and I can see where this would make her bitter,esp. when Toni even admits her sis is stronger vocally than she is. Idk if the attitude or personality played a part in her getting X'd out 4 a minute but compared to so so many, her career shouldn't be at a stall or dead-end. Someone /her mangmt has undermined her big time. She can sing bt can she handle success & fan adoration w/o flippin' out?

Tamar came out back in the late 90's when good singing went out the window and it was all about "sex sells". I would love for her to make an album now, but it needs to be for the grown and sexy and not the teeny boppers.

Tamar has had a nose job, that is for sure, but as for skin bleaching, hell no. She was always lighter than her siblings... check out young family pictures shown on the new show.
What makes Tamar looks silly now is that she has a bad taste on makeup colours... too much pink, it doesn't suit her at all. When "So Many Ways" came out and here, she sometimes looked about the same colour as Trina and Towanda, but only 'cause she was either bronzing or tanning.

@eddiejvb Haven't all of them had their noses "pinched"? At least Toni and Tamar for sure. I can't get over how fake acting Tamar is today. I don't remember her like that at all. Toni seems to be still very down to earth. Maybe "stardom" just changes people?

@eddiejvb Sometimes the blush throws me off a bit. On the show, there are scenes where she has on ALOT of blush that she doesn't need. but I do agree. She has always been lighter that her siblings. She loves to tan and wear bronzers. She states that she had to get the surgery on her nose because of damaged cartilage. She said that the doctor way she needs one more, but she says it's too painful.
