The robber is obviously a trainer, and this is an organized test. It IS real (the defense) but the robber is fake. This is a good way to train a dog though. As you see, in the 2nd video, the dog automatically targets the robber holding a gun. Trained dog sees a man holding a gun, he WILL attack like a robot.

How to do it, simple, just like the video.
Buy the wrist cushions for dog trainers, have your friend dress up as a robber with a knife or a gun, and fake a scene that you're under attack and make your dog learn to protect you and understand who are the enemies, and who aren't.
If you don't train them good, your dog will be confused

3) The robber Didn't shoot. Even if the dog got the arm, he has nothing to lose anyway.
4) How did he not see the dog? Dog attacks, the robber drops the gun. The owner didn't pick it up or have is OWN gun to shoot the robbers LEG.
